MY REFLECTION
Applied Business Tools and Technology, in this subject I have learned so many
new things and knowledge. The entire semester I enjoyed dissecting the term “Applied Business
Tools and Technology” and building my understanding of how this term is being used not only in
educational context but in a border context of the technology and business world. I truly enjoyed
this class and really liked the professor interaction. I get nervous when I take online classes
because you just never know. I appreciated your fast responses to all the questions that I asked.
It was a pleasure to be in your statistics class this semester. This course identifies common
tools, technology and techniques used in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. It includes an
overview of the applications or systems composed of technical processes, methods, software
and hardware that have evolved and streamlined certain functions in the workplace. We need to
be able to articulate the underlying significance of a particular subject through standards, goals,
essential questions and understandings, but to also appreciate the potential for new and
emerging technologies to reinforce those aspects of the content. And now for my own
metacognition reflection in the entire weeks and months of this subject that I am using the online
platform to inspire other people how important to discover and to learn in this subject because
we can use this skill when we are in a workplace. Despite of this pandemic COVID 19 we are
still learning in online class we pursue to manage our time and we are safe to stay at home to
take an exam, quizzes and etc. I learned a lot of things even though sometimes I am getting late
because of some household to do in our home but I can still to pass on time and to attend a
virtual meeting with the teacher.
It’s not easy for me as a student to have this kind of situation or we called a new
normal because we usually do everyday to go to school ride a jeep and run from ground floor to
6th floor to 7th floor how fun is that. And by this time this is our new normal and this is the way to
continue in our dreams in our future to finish study we need to adopt this kind of situation and,
on the first day of online class its very hard for me because its my first time and the by the
month and weeks goes by, I certainly understand and easily adopt the new normal of our
learning system. And also, by the guiding of our professor and she feel us like we can do it and
we can survive this. And this is my reflection in the entire months of this class.
