Annexure-1
UNDERTAKING
1. I undertake that the particulars given above are correct.
2. I fully understand that;
2.1 My selection will be only provisional in the first instance which will be subject to correction
and rectification in the light of facts discovered at any time later.
2.2 I will have to submit a certificate of physical fitness from University Medical Officer on
admission or as and when required by the University.
2.3 The selection in the Bachelor Programme as well as discipline in case of B.E will be decided
by the University on the basis of merit in accordance with the maximum capacity of seats. The
decision of the University in this respect shall be binding upon me and if admitted in any
Bachelor Programme or discipline in case of B.E, I will not be allowed transfer to any other
Programme or discipline of the University.
2.4 If I do not report for admission and pay all the required fees by the due date given by the
University, my admission is liable to be cancelled.
2.5 If any mistake is detected at anytime, the mistake will be corrected, and the decision of the
University shall be final and binding on me
3. I also undertake, if admitted, to abide by the following:
3.1 that during my stay in the University, I shall diligently apply myself to acquire and develop the
skills necessary for the practice and advancement of my field of study;
3.2 I shall participate in sports, games, extra-curricular activities as would be compatible with my
traits and aptitude;
3.3 I shall devote fully to my studies and shall maintain minimum attendance of 75 percent in order
to qualify for appearing in examinations;
3.4 that I shall maintain identity as a student of the University by wearing uniform/dress and/or
badge as may be prescribed by the University;
3.5 I shall carry my identity card with me while in the University premises and shall produce it for
inspection whenever required;
3.6 that I shall never use violence, threat or pressure, and in any disputes with others, all means and
methods shall only be logic, persuasion, petition, appeal, revision, review and other legal and
peaceful methods for settlement of differences and disputes;
3.7 that in my disputes, if any, with fellow students or teachers or employees of the University, I
shall accept the judgment of the authorities constituted by the University for decision or
settlement of the wrong doers;
3.8 that I accept all provisions of the statutes, regulations and rules in force in the University, or the
statutes, regulations and rules as may hereafter be framed by the appropriate authorities of the
University;
3.9 I shall not carry with me any objectionable material in the examination hall and shall volunteer
to be searched if necessary before entering examination hall and shall abide by all rules related
to examinations;
3.10 I shall do all the assignments and attend tutorials and seminars to the satisfaction of my
teachers;
3.11 I shall undertake to do such academic and manual work as may be assigned to me by the
University as a compulsory part of the requirements for the award of degree;
3.12 I shall maintain discipline and good conduct and will not take part in any subversive activities
4. Further, I undertake to refrain from;
4.1 doing anything which may cause injury or insult to the Vice-Chancellor, teachers, officers and
other staff of the University;

4.2 holding a gathering, or meeting, or taking out processions in any part of University campus
than areas specified for the purpose;
4.3 indulging in any kind of unfair means, malpractice in examinations, and coercion by any
means;
4.4 allowing or abetting the entry to the premises of University of expelled students, anti-social
elements or other groups whose presence on the Campus could cause conflict amongst the
students;
4.5 bringing into the Campus, consuming or encouraging consumption of alcoholic products, drugs
and narcotics, and indulging in acts of moral turpitude;
4.6 bringing or keeping any type of weapons within the University premises;
4.7 using or occupying any room or part of any building of the University without lawful authority;
4.8 damaging any University property including building, equipment, vehicles etc. in any manner:
4.9 from all such acts and deeds as might bring disgrace and bad name to the University.
5. I understand and agree that the University will not be responsible for my transport to or from the
University
6. I pledge to confine my activities to the academic pursuits only as a student and not indulge in any
political activities directly or indirectly at the campus and hostels-sponsored or promoted by political
parties and organisations working within or outside the country and that University is authorised to
expelled me without notice, if I indulge in any un-wanted activities.
