Greeting & 1. Greet the class and take the attendance.

(5-10 min.) - Have students write down everything they can remember from the
previous lesson (words or sentences) without opening their Students
Books. Then ask a few students to come out and write the word or
sentence on the board. When the board is full of words and sentences, ask
the class to look for mistakes.

- Talk about what is happening in the pictures. Then read the example
sentences, emphasizing the first have of the question.
- Explain the question pattern “Do + subject + verb...?” and “Does + subject
+ verb...?” Then explain the answer sentence pattern “Yes, pronoun +
do/does” and “No, pronoun + don’t/doesn’t.” PPT Tool
3. Read the examples in the table. Tell students the question forms are used to ask Slides 6-8
about people or animals.
4. Practice using PPT Tool Slides 7-8.

2. Have students circle the correct words, write the words in the correct order to
make questions, and circle the correct answers.

1. Do the Chain Reaction extension activity.
- Have students sit in a circle and sat a random question like “Do you go to
school every day?”
- Have the first student answer the question. Once the student answers the
question, have them ask another question to the student next to them.
- Do the same until all the students have had their chance.
2. For some challenge, do the Group Work.

- Get all the students to stand up. Then have a student ask a question using Slide 20
do/does to the teacher. Once the teacher answers the question, the
student can sit down. Continue the procedure until all the students are
seated (make sure students all say different sentences).
