PROJECT PROPOSAL
I. Project Information
A. Title
The proposed project will be called:
1. Project – Guidance Renovation
B. Activity
The school wants to provide a gender-sensitive guidance office to give privacy for
important talks and conversations and to give space or place for the students to raise
their private concerns and it will also be a breastfeeding room at the same time.
C. Date
This project will be implemented from the Year 2021 to 2022
D. Location
The proposed project will be done at Maasin High School.
E. End Users
The end-users of this projects were primarily the 100% learners of the school (all
males/females) as well the parents, teachers, and the community
F. Budget and Fund Source
The source of funds for this project will be taken from the School Maintenance and
Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) for Fiscal Year 2022 amounting to Php. 10,160
G. Project proponent.
The proponent of this project is the school’s designated Gender and Development
Coordinator.
II. Rationale
It is part of the DepEd mandate to protect and promote the right of every
Filipino learner to quality education and the school is aiming to elevate the
delivery of quality education by providing conducive facilities. One of these is the
guidance counseling room. As a client-focused institution, it is our goal to hear
out our learners and listen to them as they encounter a lot of challenging
circumstances in their quest to learn. Students would be able to learn better if
they are free from these burdens. The major aim of Guidance Counselling
Services is to encourage students' academic, social, emotional, and personal
development. To reach this aim, guidance counseling services help students get
to know themselves better and find effective solutions to their daily problems
with ease and complete privacy

III. Objectives and Long Term Goal
Project Guidance Renovation aims to provide a guidance room to encourage students'
academic, social, emotional, and personal development and to give privacy to
important concerns of parents and learners.
