Kyla has a crush on Christian but is too scared to tell him. She asks her friend Eljohn for help confessing her feelings. Eljohn reveals Kyla's crush to Christian, but Christian says he only sees Kyla as a friend. It is then revealed that Eljohn has feelings for Christian, not Kyla. Though disappointed, Kyla is happy for her friends and realizes she is proud of herself for mustering the courage to confess, even if it didn't work out as hoped.

FADE IN:

EXT. SCHOOL CAMPUS - DAY

Kyla, walking with her friends Jowi, Denise, Gian, and Ralff, sees Christian sitting on a bench, reading a
book.

KYLA: (whispering) There he is. Christian.

DENISE: You're still crushing on him?

KYLA: (nodding) Yeah. It's been a while.

JOWI: Why don't you just tell him how you feel?

KYLA: I'm too scared. What if he doesn't feel the same way?

RALFF: You'll never know unless you try.

GIAN: (nodding) Yeah, Kyla. You gotta take a chance.

KYLA: (sighs) I know. But I need help.

CUT TO:

INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - DAY

Kyla approaches her guy friend, Eljohn.

KYLA: Hey, Eljohn. Can I talk to you for a sec?

ELJOHN: Sure. What's up?

KYLA: (whispering) I need your help.

ELJOHN: (confused) With what?

KYLA: (whispering) I want to tell Christian how I feel about him, but I'm too scared. Can you help me?

ELJOHN: (smiling) Of course, I'll help you. Let's make a plan.


CUT TO:

EXT. SCHOOL CAMPUS - DAY

Eljohn, Kyla, and Christian are sitting on the grass, talking.

ELJOHN: So, Christian, have you ever thought about Kyla in a romantic way?

CHRISTIAN: (surprised) What? No, I mean, she's a great friend, but I don't see her that way.

Kyla looks down, disappointed.

ELJOHN: (smiling) Well, that's good to know. Because Kyla actually has feelings for you.

Christian looks at Kyla, surprised.

CHRISTIAN: (confused) Really?

Kyla looks up, nervous.

KYLA: (whispering) Eljohn, what are you doing?

ELJOHN: (whispering) Trust me.

CHRISTIAN: (smiling) Kyla, I had no idea. I mean, I've always enjoyed spending time with you, but I never
thought about it in that way.

KYLA: (smiling) Really?

CHRISTIAN: (nodding) Yeah. And now that I know, I can say that I do have feelings for someone else.

Kyla's face drops again.

KYLA: (disappointed) Who?

CHRISTIAN: (smiling) Eljohn.

Kyla looks at Eljohn, surprised.

KYLA: (confused) What?

ELJOHN: (smiling) Yeah, I guess I have feelings for Christian too.

FADE OUT.

FADE IN:
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - DAY

Kyla is walking with her friends, still smiling.

Jowi: "Hey, Kyla. We heard what happened. Are you okay?"

Kyla: "Yeah, I'm okay. It wasn't what I was expecting, but...I'm happy for them."

Denise: "That's the spirit! You'll find someone who loves you just as much, Kyla."

Gian: "And in the meantime, you've got us. We'll always be here for you."

Ralff: "Yeah, we've got your back."

Dave: "And who knows, maybe one day you'll find someone who surprises you even more."

Kyla looks at her friends, who are all smiling and nodding.

KYLA: (smiling) I'm happy for you guys.

CHRISTIAN: (smiling) And we're happy for you, Kyla. You're an amazing friend.

Kyla smiles, and they all group hug.

Kyla smiles, feeling grateful for her friends.

KYLA: You know what? I'm proud of myself for telling Christian
