What Are Whipped


Soaps?
whipped soap is more like a foaming
body butter than an actual soap. And
because it's loaded with good-for-you
oils like coconut and palm, it forms a
semi-solid soap that can be used as a
shaving cream, face wash, or even as a
deep conditioner for your skin.
Formulation of
Whipped soap Base
ingredients Percent Function
SCI 25% Surfactant
Distilled water 20% Diluent
Glycerin 30% Humectant
CAPB 10% Foaming Agent
Propylene Glycol 10% Humectant
Stearic Acid 5% Thickening agent
Iscaguard PEG 1% Preservative
Procedure :
1.Take all the ingredients except preservative in a
container.
2.Keep on double boiler & let it melt. It will take 10-
20 minutes to melt everything. Once
all ingredients melt, remove the container from gas.
3.After 30 minutes, once everything comes at room
temperature.
4.Whip for 5 min or till you get fluffy texture.
5.Then add preservatives.
