Aims:
At the end of the lesson students will be able to:
1. find answers to riddles related to animals;
2. practice the correct forms of comparatives;
3. enrich vocabulary related to animals;
4. describe their favourite animal using comparatives;
Skills: speaking, reading, listening, writing
Techniques: conversation, explanation, observation, exercises, mime game.
Resources: Laptop, the Internet, worksheets, Powerpoint presentation, notebooks, whiteboard,
student book.
Anticipated problems:
1
- there are a few students who have a lower English level – they will get extra guidance from the
teacher and help from their colleagues
-some pupils might feel nervous and reluctant to participate in the activity, thus they may need
assistance.
