I. COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course deals with the understanding of the different guiding principles in
teaching and learning process which includes the elements of teaching and
learning process, management of instruction, teaching methods, techniques
and strategies, assessment of learning and the classroom management.

II. LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the semester, you are expected to:

A. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Principles of Teaching and


Learning and how they are applied to the classroom.
B. Relate these Principles to your experiences in the field or vice versa.
C. Gain enough insights on how to manage one’s classroom and make
appropriate decisions in accordance with the principles of classroom
management.

VI. COURSE SCHEDULE AND STRUCTURE

As a college student of ZPPSU, you are expected to be responsible students,


taking note of deadlines and submitting course requirements that have been
carefully and critically prepared. Furthermore, it is expected that as ZPPSU

VII. CLASS POLICIES AND PROCEDURE

1. Attendance will be checked every meeting. You are given 10 minutes


allowance to get inside the classroom. 15 minutes after the time, you will
be marked as absent and are NOT ALLOWED to get inside the classroom
anymore.
2. Number of absences allowed for this subject is 3 for the whole semester.
3. Three times late is equivalent to 1 meeting absent.
4. Always wear your school uniform and school I.D. on regular classes
except on Wednesdays.
