CHINESE TRANSLATOR:
KEDA CERAMICS INTERNATIONAL COMPANY LIMITED is seeking to recruit Chinese
Translator with the following descriptions and specifications:
Nature of the Job — Full time. Age Requirement - 22 ~ 35years.
Required Number — 2 positions(Male/Female) Job Location-Miwani, Kisumu
Role summary:
Liaise and communicate between the Chinese managers on day-to-day activities/duties and the
local team to enhance work productivity and efficiency and translate directives between the
managers and local team.
lob Responsibilities:
a) Control working conditions of all local employees, report to the Chinese manager and deal
with the problems of local employees in a timely manner.
b) Be familiar with the operation skills of each post in the workshop, guide and correct
operation of local employees.
c) Act as a communication channel between the Chinese managers and the local staff.
d) Assist the Chinese manager in weekly and monthly attendance management and monthly
performance rating,
2) Maintenance and inspection of all equipment in the workshop.
Check the work status of local team leaders every day.
9) Any other duty assigned by management.
Education and other qualifications:
a) _ DiplomayBachelors’ degree.
b) Good in written and spoken Chinese. Preferably HSK Level 4.
c) More than 2 years’ experience as a Chinese translator.
d) Must have studied in China, stayed for atleast 2 years and interacted with the Chinese
culture.
) Familiar with mechanical and electrical principle and equipment operation
Key competencies and skills:
a) Good communication and decision-making skils,
b) Good in written and oral English and Mandarin.
©) High level of integrity.
d) Team player
e) Able to supervise and manage employees.
)_Self-motivated and can work under minimum supervision.
