The DN-400 is a digital video recorder that can record in DV and HDV formats onto a removable hard drive. It allows users to monitor recordings on a standard video monitor during DV recording. Once recording is complete, the hard drive carrier can be easily connected to a computer via USB for editing footage in NLE software.
