LEADERSHIP
Leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act toward achieving a
goa. It is process by which an executive can direct, guide and influence the behavior and
work of others towards accomplishment of specific goals in a given situation. Leadership
is the ability to work with confidence and zeal.
It is also defined as the capacity to influence a group towards the realization of a
goal. Leaders are required to develop future vision, and to motivate the organization
members to want to achieved the visions.
According to Keith Davis, “Leadership is the ability to persuade others to seek
defined objectives, enthusiastically. It is the human factor which binds a group together
and motivates it towards a goals”
Ability to lead and guide others is one of characteristics that a leader should
have. In line with other projects literacy, mental health awareness, tree planting
and sharing our knowledge with the youth during this pandemic, these projects
became successful because we were all motivated to achieved our vision. We work
as one and gave the best that we have. We shared one idea and motivated each
other towards our goal. Leadership is a complex of beliefs, communication patters,
and behaviors that influence the functioning of a group and move group toward the
completion of its task. A leader should have the ability to maintain good
interpersonal relations with the followers or subordinates and motivate them to
help achieving the organizational objectives.

Introduction
As a studentof NSTP's Pamantasan Lunsod ng San Pablo, we are glad to help and serve our
community as well as we serve our nation. We had all put out our best efforts to come up with
a simple yet really useful project proposal that would benefit our environment. This can help to
improve the cleanliness of our community. We sincerely hope and believe that our endeavour
will contribute in maintaining the cleanliness of our nation.
We are excited to help and serve our community and serve our country. We put every effort
into creating a simple but very useful project proposal that might help our environment. This
helps improve the cleanliness of our community. We hope and are humbled to know that our
projects can contribute to keeping our country clean. We aim to do our responsibility as youth
in the environment. We aim to keep the environment in Brgy. Bukal clean and teach other
people how and where to dispose of garbage by putting up signs, which is important because it
will lead to a neat and clean environment that everyone will learn.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A. Background of the Project
Solid waste management is a problem that needs to be addressed. In order to reduce the
amount of waste within the Brgy. Bukal, Tiaong Quezon, it is best to implement the solid waste
management that gives priority to the waste reduction through 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Barangay Bukal is already polluted and continues to generate environmental difficulties is the
program's indicated focal area. As a result, having a contaminated area is a result of negligence
as well as a lack of understanding among people regarding appropriate waste management,
posing a threat to our ecosystem. We will develop this project since we know that lack of trash
bins is one of the causes of a lot of scattered rubbish in the barangay. We devise a plan to build
trash cans and level them accordingly. We, the indicators, believed that this initiative should be
implemented in order to assist in keeping the environment clean. One of the goals of proper
waste segregation in the focal area of this program is to help reduce the increasing level of
improper waste disposal of trash or garbage in Brgy. Bukal.
With the rapidly changing environment, there is an urgent need to promote order and
hygiene, starting with our own communities. The selected area is Brgy. Bukal, Tiaong Quezon
needs to be disinfected and cleaned to avoid flooding, mosquito habitat and other conditions
that could pose a health problem to the community. The area around Brgy. Bukal is surrounded
by residents who pollute the lake itself. When it comes to health, it requires attention not only
to the individual's self, but also to his or her environment. In order to promote hygiene and
community appeal, order and cleanliness must be clearly visible around. The act of keeping
clean reduces the risk of disease, pollution and disability. Human problems are greatly reduced,
greenery is promoted, dissipates into neighboring communities, and brings about global
changes that lead to social progress.
So, we came up with this idea about environmental hygiene. We can help barangay residents
by making a trash bin and leveling it accordingly as well as putting up signs such as
“bawalmagtapondito” to keep their environment clean.

In reality, the residents of Brgy. Bukal, Tiaong Quezon lack proper waste management as well
as public and environmental awareness, as evidenced by the fact that they pollute the ground
with trash found out in Brgy. Bukal which has negative consequences for their environment. As
a result, we devised this project proposal to assist the chosen barangay in maintaining its
cleanliness, which would be implemented in this area.
Methodology
The barangay Bukal, Tiaong Quezon will be the location of the project's completion. A schedule
of events for the project's completion is provided below.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A. Background of the Project
Waste and improper garbage disposal are just a few of the issues plaguing our
environment today. It has a huge negative impact on our environment. Garbage is not only an
eyesore; it is also the cause of infertile soil, a filthy river, and can even endanger a person's
health. As we face the COVID-19 Pandemic, we must remember that our environment can
become ill as well.
With the idea and advocacy of maintaining cleanliness and promoting a cleaner
environment we came up with a project of “cleanliness drive” particularly in Sitio Ilaya
Barangay. San Mateo, Dolores, Quezon. It aims to make the place cleaner by doing community
service like street sweeping. We believe that with the effort and heart for protecting the
environment we can make the place cleaner and better.
Barangay. Ilaya, Sitio Ilaya San Mateo, a barangay in the municipality of Dolores in the
province of Quezon, is a small community that values trees, and green grasses. The reason for
this is that the people of the "Sitio" are heavily reliant on natural resources because farming is
their primary source of income. Tourism in the area began to grow as a result of its beauty. It
has its own 'Man Made Mahogany Forest,' which is popular with tourists. The cleanliness
campaign aims to protect their community's most valuable asset, the environment. It will
greatly benefit the local community and turn the area into a zero-waste tourist destination.
The man-made mahogany forest is now becoming popular with the locals. It helps a
simple barangay be heard by the public, but for it to continue to be seen and enjoyed by the
people, we must preserve cleanliness around the area. Garbage should be removed and
segregated. Large branches of trees should be kept away, and proper waste disposal should be
monitored regularly.

The implementation of the project will directly benefit the residents and the locals who
will visit the Drive Thru Mahogany Man-Made Forest. Firstly, the place will become cleaner and
greener, which can attract more tourists. It will boost the tourism of the barangay, which can
provide business opportunities to other people. Tourism also reflects the image of the people in
the area. Secondly, it will increase the satisfaction of tourists by having a clean and safe place to
visit. This project will surely raise awareness about taking proper care of nature.
D. METHODOLOGY
The project will be completed in the Drive Thru Mahogany Man-Made Forest located in
Barangay. San Mateo Dolores, Quezon. A schedule of actions for the project's completion is as

Objectives Of theProject:
Individuals from indigenous communities, such as Badjao, who resides in Brgy.
2E of San Pablo City Laguna are encourage to seek assistance. Towards this end, the
following objectives are:
We intend to construct a feeding program in order to improve their health.
To build a program for equality in order to support them and make them feel
that they are no alone.
To prevent them from experiencing any form of discrimination about being
indigenous people.
To develop a better understanding of Indigenous Peoples interest and visions
for conservation.
Introduction:
These people who live in the city of San Pablo, had experienced mistreats by other
people. Therefore, offering help and volunteering for few hours to provide a feeding program
can make a huge difference. It is our best way to make them feel that they are welcome in San
Pablo and we are able to show them great acceptance.
This programis entitled ‘Good Samaritan Program’ which aims to help Indigenous people
in San Pablo City like Badjao’s. Food is a human basic needs and poverty is the reason why
many of them can’t provide such necessities. This will at least lessen hunger and malnutrition,
which will lead to a better community. Badjao’s are around San Pablo City and it is our pleasure
to make great efforts to give and share a little we had. Badjao’s have a long history of
displacement due to the loss of their ancestral waters, armed conflict in Mindanao, poverty,
and discrimination. In our program we intend to construct a feeding program to build equality
in order to support them and make them feel they are not alone and to prevent them
experiencing any form of discrimination of being indigenous people.
The badjao live on the sea-sides most of the time. As a result, fishing is theirprimary source of
income. They also know how to dive for pearls and create nets or traps to catch fish. Women,
on the other hand, create vibrantly colored mats. Even if we don’t have a sea here in San Pablo,
we observe that many badjao are wandering around asking for food or money.
Simply asking for money will result in them pulling over to the side of the road and
getting back in to the jeep to play and sing, which we know is dangerous for them.

Project Duration
Due to what we see and notice about the plight badjoa’s, we are concerned and pity-
filled, especially with the pandemic we are experiencing today. They need more attention and
help. So, we put a program so that, for a little while, they could feel that we could see and hear
them. We also want to be able to give a smile despite the situation. So twice a month we will
conduct a feeding program for them, giving a healthy food to fill their hunger on that day. We
will make a food that are healthy and to boost their energy like fruits and vegetable. This
program will take place on Brgy. 2E San Pablo City, most of the badjao are in that area begging
for food and money. We will prepare food for at least 20-25 badjoa’s who are in the street.
Project Description
A. Background of the Project
Within the current society of San Pablenos, there are few inborn individuals who
live in San Pablo. Badjao’s individuals seek and need our help. Traditional information
and hones of the inborn people groups have been passed down through eras. The arrive
and common assets they depend on are fundamentally to their personalities, societies,
vocations, and physical and otherworldly wellbeing. They habitually take after
conventional pioneers and organizations for representation that are unmistakable from
standard society or culture. The official dialect of the nation or where they live isn’t
talked by numerous innate people groups. Indigenous people groups number between
370 to 500 million in over 90 nations. In spite of the fact that they as it were make up
5% of the worlds population, and they account for 15% of the world poorest. Indigenous
people groups have a life hope up to 20 a long time lower than non-indigenous peoples.
Indigenous people groups frequently need formal acknowledgement over their lands,
regions and common assets, and confront numerous boundaries just to survive.

B. Justification
Poverty is everywhere and us for our current situation, Covid-19 pandemic
makes it a bit harder for everyone, to adjust and provides necessities. For example,
there were Badjao people who are living near the supermarket in San Pablo City Laguna.
They were struggling not only for everyday food, where and how to get it, but also no
permanent house to give them warmth through the night to stay in. But most of the
time, when they have nothing to eat, they roam around the city to beg for money so
they can buy food.
In this project proposal, the situation of this people caught our attention and
came up with a solution, Food Feeding Program. For this agenda, we are targeting to
give few hours of our time and effort to provide them the care and food they are
struggling to get. A program where they can feel that they are taken care off, that they
have nothing to worry for the food they need to consume for at least a day and a special
day for them to feel better.
Sympathizing their situation is important. But to help them to lessen their
burden in some ways is already a live saver in their situation.
“Giving is not donating. It is about making a difference”
C. Benefits
The target of this program is the badjao and to provide them foods that will give
them nutrients, energy, growth, and all functions of the body. It will be beneficial to
Badjao’s as we give them food and basic necessities in our little ways. By providing free
food, they will not be asking people for too much money.
It will help ease their hunger and malnutrition and to improve their health and
improve their health and it will also improve their immune system to avoid sickness. It
will also help the community as they feel the warmth acceptance and care of San Pablo.

D. Methodology
It is difficult for indigenous people to assimilate or interact in our culture,
therefore they choose to move to another place where they believe they belong. Even if
It is difficult to communicate, they do their best to do so to feed them and occasionally
to ask for money to buy products. As a result, we created this program to feed them and
lead them along the right route to the area where they truly belong. It was difficult for a
beggar or an indigenous person to persuade others to give them food. As a PLSP student
we are CWTS class that are ready to design a program that will give a solution to
badjao’s daily concerns, such as medicines, foods, and clothing. However, in order for it
to be successful, we will need enough funding, as we are unable to build a program
without it.

Objectives
This program named “Sharing Knowledge to Other Youth Modular Learning”, It aims to
help young people/students who have difficulty with modular learning. Also helping their
parents not to pay for the tutor and lessen the time of teaching their children so that they can
rest.
Gives enjoyment while learning new knowledge
Make them inspired to finish their homework/modules
By giving them an experience or idea on what happening inside the school.
Introduction:
Covid 19 pandemic causes many changes in our society and our daily life, including the
change of academic learning that turns into online and modular types of classes. This type of
studying seems very hard for learners to pursue studies, but it’s the choice we’re all taking
through, so we came up to have a small idea to help with our co-learners specifically children,
who needs assistance with their module. Modular class in primary and secondary students was
given a modules and questioners to answers and the students have their obligations to study
and do schoolwork at home. Our main role is to help sharing knowledge to other young
students to help them in doing their modules, we believe that this small help could mean a lot
to them.

The main problem in modular learning method in students is they are actually helping
themselves in understanding and learning process and not all students are fast learners so they
need assistance. It is our voluntarily acts of helping the children in our specific areas to share
and help them in doing their tasks in modules. “Sharing is Caring”
Project Duration
This project will begin during the first week of March until June 2022. During this time
this project objective is to teach every child to become more knowledgeable about their
academic subject because our way to teach them are just like how the teacher does during the
face-to-face classes. We choose at least 2-3 hours once a week to refresh their mind about the
topics that they had during this time.
9.
Project Description
B. Background of the Project
The key towards the development of ourselves and or strengthen our knowledge
and skills is through education. Pandemic brought changes to the learning system of
every student. We noticed some student especially elementary students are struggling
with their own modules. Moreover, the learning of a person should be a never ending
one and it shall start in a very young age. So, given a chance to help some students with
their modules in this project we want to share some of our knowledge to them.
C. Justification
when the focus is on teaching them, they also enjoy learning more with other children
their age and at the same time they can also play and have friend.
D. Benefits
Benefits derived from the Project this implementation of this project shall
directly benefit to the children in different Barangay of San Pablo and other places
where the other member of our group lives. It will benefit them as long as the children
will understand and influence them about the proper doing and answering their
modules. The main purpose of this project to the children is to have more knowledge
and give them any tips to enjoy while doing their modules and how they can easily
answer and understand the topics. And lastly, this project is the best way to let the
children to expand their knowledge.
10.
E. Methodology
The different barangay’s where each of us is located will be the sites of the
project’s completion. The following is the timetable of actions in the said project.
Date Activities
F. Budgetary
This project proposal will be no longer needed a budget requirement but, it will assist in
accumulation of funds. The only material that is required to this project is a student that we
will help by teaching. This program has no budget intended since it will be done by teaching
a student who needs a learning which are located in different Barangay in San Pablo. After
teaching some children we will have simple food for them.

In the last few weeks, I learned a lot in my former student, they make me laugh
all the time but sometimes it’s good to be mad at them because they become serious of
what they are doing.

Ms. Rosenhaly Tenorio, resident of Barangay San Mateo, Dolores, Quezon
chose to clean the surrounding of Drive Thru Mahogany Man-Made Forest. Since it is
getting known and many have visited this place, she thought of doing the clean drive
here. By sweeping the leaves off of the road and making it cleaner and by picking up the
garbage around the area. What she does may inspire other residents to contribute to
making the neighborhood a better place

Conclusion
As the agent of learning we must develop ourselves or equipped with the different techniques in
teaching which could develop learners opportunities to grow and developed their knowledge and skills.
In the ever changing world that we are in that is needed to be given to our learners.
Recommendation
Continue providing students with access to the basic technologies that are most important to their
academic success. Since we noticed upon looking at some modules that some people have they need to
add more explanation for students to understand the given modules and to have better understanding.
They should also use basic words to be more accessible and not hard to have more knowledge especially
in our environment.
