the data rather than being programmed . He called it machine learning where
computers could learn from experience . This idea changed how people thought
about AI . Instead of just programming computers to do things , they could now learn
and get better at task over time . Other than , there are two type of machine learning
which is supervised and unsupervised . And the main difference , is one has more
human oversight , looking of the training of data using labels that are superimposed
on the data . Unsupervised is kind of able to run more and find things that were not
explicitly stated . It turn out that there is a sub field of machine learning that call “
deep learning “ that involves neural networks with multiple layers , but the system
may not always show its work fully .
In the 1960 , researchers tried different ways to make AI work , like using symbols
teaching computers to understand language . Progress was slow and many AI
systems had trouble working well in real situation .
Machine learning became a big part of AI in1980 . Researchers started using math
and statistic more to make computer learn from data . This led to the creation of
modern Machine Learning technique .
