Labac Elementary School
Narrative Report
The collaboration of teachers and parents/guardians is crucial
for the school to operate efficiently for the welfare of the
students. The Home Room Parent-Teacher Association (HRPTA) in
the school does a good job of accomplishing this.
The HRPTA's first quarter
meeting took place on
August 26, 2022. There was a
formal prayer to open the
assembly. A roll call was
used to see whether all
attendees were present. The
agenda was mentioned so
that the teacher could
clearly define for the
participants what would take
place during the meeting.

Ma'am Clarissa told the parents of
the class schedule to be followed
for the entire year at the meeting.
The two-day modular format of the
learning delivery and the in-person
arrangement were both clearly
explained by her.
Parents were overjoyed to learn that their kids will finally start
going to school and taking classes. I also reminded the parents
that, in accordance with the school's health regulations, they are
not permitted to enter the building unless absolutely necessary.
I gave them the class schedule
and then introduced them to the
various subject teachers who
would be teaching their kids'
classes. Due to the
departmentalization of grade 4
learners.
I also enquired as to whether they
were already a part of our official FB
Group and GC. After that, I told them
to always check our GC to be
informed of the various tasks we
have for them to complete each
day. GCs were really helpful in
getting parents interested and
informed.

Parents were also made aware of the weekly Thursday and
Friday home-based activities. They were also reminded about
how to utilize activity sheets and notebooks properly. Parents
were encouraged to teach their kids how to be responsible and
organized with their own belongings.
Additionally, several
safety measures
implemented at the
institution were reviewed.
I reminded the parents
and guardians to
cooperate and abide by
the rules as though the
school was concerned for
everyone's safety
because the pandemic
was still present in the
nation.

There was also an election for PTA officers. It is best to have visible
officials who could aid the class in times of need because
education is gradually moving toward an in-person model. Each
class must include parents in achieving the objectives they have
established, and the best way to do this is to appoint
representatives who will support the teachers.
It is best that the parents/guardians also have clear outline
and guidance from teachers about their children’s work.
Addition to that, the class adviser said that if there are questions
regarding their children’s learning, they can ask the teachers for
attention. Parents were given chance to ask questions
concerning their child’s behavior during the 1st week of in
person class and other concern. The meeting ended at exactly
11:30 AM.
