1. Plan Scope Management
1.1 Project Title: www.travelfreak.com (Online travel assistance portal)
1.2 Project Objective:
 To develop an application that assists travelers to book hotels, resorts and to
provide reliable travel guide from company authorized service holder at any
tourist area.
 To assist customer an easiest way to use the site.
 To provide customer smooth service at a low cost without harassment.

1.3 Project Deliverables:

 Complete website and app for PC and mobile


 Provide manual help for assigning hotels and guide (If needed)
 Resolve any customer issues with hotel owners and guides and any other risk
involved.

1.3.1 Acceptance Criteria:

 Assuring maximum uses of app and site without any lagging at a time.
 The Navigation of the system will be quite easier. For booking desired hotel, guide
etc. less effort needed.
 Sorting of service should be noticeable such as premium, middle range, budget range
etc.
 Permitting the customer to use various payment method for payment.
 Customer will get promo code on various occasion
 Customer who cancels bookings before specific times will get proportion of refund.
 An authorized signed receipt with code will be provided on online.
 If any changes made on the site or prices will notify the customer via SMS
 Customer information will be kept in secured database.

1.4 Project Exclusion:


 Any service that requires manual effort.
 Any personal issues or problem includes legal or other problems.
 Any payment system enables cash payment.
 Any information about immigration, visa etc.
 Maintaining the website and app.

1.5 Project Constraints:


 The interface is running only in South Asia
 The system of this interface is single user interface.
 The language of the interface is only English.

1.6 Project Assumption:


 User must have minimum skill on computer website and mobile application
 User must have minimum knowledge on basic English is needed
 A minimum knowledge in payment system and entering codes that the user knows.
 User have an acceptable bandwidth of data to access the interface.
Obtain signoffs from the project owner and other key stakeholders.

2.Collect Requirement
2.1 Customer:
 Smooth registering with privacy.
 Managing customer profiles privately
 An online payment method with high security
 Choosing the right service according the cost
2.2 Provider:
 Smooth registering and managing their profiles privately.
 Displaying the accurate vacant rooms, free guides. Upgrade after filling the rooms or
any alteration has been made.
2.3 Administrator:

 A board to add or subtract new hotels, resorts, guides.


 Can control the customer and provider’s actions.

Non-functional Requirements include security, reliability, and maintainability.

3. Project Scope
Scope in- Application and website for desktop, laptop, and mobile like Firefox, safari, chrome etc.
Make customer to have best tourism service with reasonable price.
Scope out- Hand over hotel rooms or guides, maintaining software.

5 Validate Scope
 Clear and sophisticated actions from user.
 User desirable output from the interface.
 Getting the highest preferred service from the system.
 Customer and provider satisfaction from the system.
 Reviews and feedback from the customer.

6 Control Scope:
The difference between the desired/planned services and the actual services. If the actual services
beneath the planned services the correction action should be taken to solve this problem.

Quality Plan
 Browsing website smoothly without lagging
 Simple registering system with high security
 Easy payment method which includes all operators
 Easy navigation for finding the right option in the interface
 Ensuring the best service that the customer wants
 There is a hotline or other option for getting feedback or complaints
 Enough storage for storing the customer information privately.

Risk Involved:

Business Risk:
 The planned service of the customer must be given
 Cost arising from lack of customer because of new tourist place
 Cost arising from the cancellation of booking

Client Risk:
 Gaining trust of new customer
 Can the customer visit the website for booking services?
 Complex and confusing user interfaces
 Non –transparent of payment transaction

Resource risk:
 Inadequate provider resources after booking confirmation
 Lake of database for storing the personal data

Technology Risk:
 The existing site is out of date and needs reforming
 Lagging behavior of website or app because of excessive traffic
 Loss of data that cannot be restored
