FORMULA BOTANICA’S NEXT TERM TIME.
Welcome to Formula Botanica’s prospective student list. Your name is now on the list for our
next student intake, your space is secured, and you have committed to enrol with us during
our next term time period.

We open enrolment for our individual courses twice a year in January and July when
we welcome thousands of students into our global community – and we can’t wait to
welcome you!

By pre-registering for our next term time, we’re going to get you ready to enrol to become
an organic cosmetic formulator and maybe even an indie beauty entrepreneur.
Formula Botanica is the world’s leading organic formulation school, and we can’t wait to
welcome you into our community.

WHY DO OUR STUDENTS PRE-ENROL WITH US FIRST?

We ask prospective students to pre-enrol and wait for our next term time so that we ensure
our latest student intake starts together, gets started with Orientation Week at the same time,
gets to know our tutors, finds study buddies, and works together to help everyone get through
their courses successfully.

Once the latest student intake is welcomed into our online community, our teams start
Orientation Week and ensure that all new students get started with their online courses,
understand how to access our award-winning eLearning platform and learn how to get tutor
support for the duration of their courses.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

1. Complete our pre-enrolment checklist to make sure you’re ready to become a
Formula Botanica student
2. You’ll receive a series of emails from us to get prepared for enrolment (and we’ll share
some fun tips too!)
3. We’ll help you get your workspace and mindset ready to become an organic cosmetic
formulator.

ORGANISE YOUR
COURSE FUNDING
Now that you have pre-enrolled, it’s time to prepare your finances: your formulation and
study budget.

You will need to pay your fees in full at the point of enrolment and you will also need to
budget to purchase ingredients, as well as some basic equipment. Students who have their
finances prepared are more likely to succeed with their courses, as they have budgeted
properly to start their exciting formulation journey!

YOUR COURSE FEES

Formula Botanica keeps the fees for its accredited and award-winning courses affordable
as part of its mission to teach the world to formulate. For that reason, all course fees are
payable at the time of enrolment.

YOUR INGREDIENTS
The best part of learning how to formulate is being able to experiment with the wealth of
amazing botanical herbs, petals, roots, seeds and leaves. You will need to budget at least
half of your course fees to buy ingredients throughout your studies.

YOUR STARTER EQUIPMENT

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need lots of expensive equipment to get set up as a
formulator. All you need is a simple starter kit (and we’ll tell you exactly what to buy once you
enrol with us) and a small space to set up your home formulation lab.

PREPARE YOUR
FORMULATION LAB
You’ve made the fantastic decision to become an organic cosmetic formulator and we can’t
wait to get you started on your Formula Botanica courses. Now that you know that you want
to empower yourself with formulation skills using beautiful botanical ingredients, you’ll need
to start getting a workspace set up for your studies.

Once you’ve enrolled, we encourage you to find a dedicated workspace in your home where
you can study and formulate. We also encourage you to schedule a study day and set time,
so you can work on your courses to put your formulation plans into action.

START THINKING ABOUT

INGREDIENTS & EQUIPMENT
Once you start formulating, you’ll need ingredients and equipment to practise your
formulating skills. Don’t worry, we’ve got you sorted!

All of the students on our foundation Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation (the course
that everyone starts with) are given a shopping list and we work with suppliers around the
world to offer discount codes. One large supplier even offers a special Formula Botanica
Starter Kit (ships internationally), to which you will receive a discount when you enrol with us
as a student.

During pre-enrolment, we recommend reading through the required ingredients and

equipment lists in our Helpdesk so you know what you’ll need to buy once you get started
as a Formula Botanica student.

you to get the most out of your studies with Formula Botanica and to complete your
