The two trainers look at each other and smile. Both pull
pokeballs from their pockets.

POKEBALL GO!
The two gym bros and struck by the pokeballs and absorbed
into the balls in a flash of red light. Both trainers walk up
and pick up their newly captured mon.
DYLAN
Let's try them out.
TRAINER 2

Pokemon battle music begins and our trainers lock eyes.
DYLAN
I choose you! (a beat)
The pokeball is tossed it pops open and we see...
DYLAN
Slowpoke?
We see a very confused gym bro in a Slowpoke onesie.
TRAINER 2
LOL! So much for a stronger pokemon.
DYLAN
Just you wait I'll show you!
TRAINER 2
GO! Pokeball!
The ball hits the grass and we see the other gym bro in an
Espeon onesie.
ESPEON

Espeon looks confused at its new trainer.

Espeon's eyes glow blue we get a build up of energy, the
music ramps up, and-

Espeon turns to look at its trainer confused.
DYLAN
Slowpoke use Confusion!
Slowpoke cocks its head and holds its face, it's eyes glow
and crack! Espeon is knocked to the ground with a wave of
psychic energy.
TRAINER 2
Espeon Shadow Ball go!
An orb of ghostly energy forms in front of Espeon and rips
across the park, striking Slowpoke.
Slowpoke struggles to rise.
DYLAN
Oh no! Slowpoke! You can do it, come
on!
CU OF SLOWPOKE STRUGGLING TO RISE, GRIT AND DETERMINATION ON
HIS FACE.
DYLAN

Slowpoke leaps to his feet eyes glowing blue, the world
flashes. Espeon is stunned for a moment.
TRAINER 2
Espeon Shadowball!
Espeon attempts to form another ghostly orb but the energy
refuses to coalesce.
DYLAN
That's it Slowpoke we got 'em now! Use
Amnesia!
Slowpoke adopts a dopier look (if that's even possible) its
head tilts to the side and its body begins to glow with
rising energy.
TRAINER 2
Espeon hit it with your Psybeam!
Espeon focuses and Slowpoke is blasted with a beam of purple
light. The attack sparks off its body Slowpoke seems
unaffected.
DYLAN
We've got 'em now! Slowpoke use
Flamethrower!
A scorching ray of fire erupts from Slowpoke. Espeon is
knocked to the grass, in pain, smoking from the hit. This
looks like it for Espeon.
TRAINER 2
Espeon NO! Get up Espeon! You can do
it.
ESPEON
Es...Espeoon...
Espeon shakily gets to a kneeling position.
DYLAN
Let's win this Slowpoke! Use
Flamethrower one more time!
Sparks crackle from Slowpoke's mouth as it readies it's final
blow.
TRAINER 2
Hurry Espeon! Get up!

Streaks of radiant light fly out of the sky and slam into
Slowpoke!
