Ask the students questions about school to check what school words they already know.

Read the Big Question What do we do on school days? aloud. Ask students to think of answers. Allow use of L1.

Write their ideas on a poster. Tell the students you will continue adding to it as you go through the unit.

Ask students to circle the number of days they go to school and stay at home.

 Look at the picture and discuss.

Focus students' attention on the unit picture. Discuss.

 Watch the video. Circle.

Ask students to look at the video still in the SB and guess what the video is about (a school schedule).

Play the video. Students check if they were correct and circle the corresponding days.
