SAMPLE SCRIPT

“A chain of earnest praying believers should encircle the world.” Good morning, good afternoon, good
evening. Welcome to 24/7 United Prayer NA.) My name is _______ and I live in _______”. It’s great to
see people from China, Chile, the Middle East, and many other places around the world.

I would like to invite you to close your eyes at this time as I open with prayer:
Father in heaven, we thank You so much for drawing us together because You long to pour out rich
blessings upon us. We ask that You would help us to fix our eyes upon Jesus and that the things of
this earth grow strangely dim as we go into the devotional reading. Please minister to our hearts, and
inspire us to have greater faith in You and Your Word. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Our Devotional Reading is Faith Means Trusting Beyond Death, from the book by E.J. Waggoner
Lessons on Faith, pg. 29, 30.

Faith Means Trusting Beyond Death

The Scripture Reading: "Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works was faith made
perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for
righteousness.' And he was called the friend of God" (James 2:22, 23).
Said Abraham: God has said, and that will I do. I interfered once in the promise, and I repudiated all that I had done, and
came back to the word only. Then, by a miracle, God gave me Isaac, the promised seed.
Now He says, Offer Isaac, the promised seed, for a burnt offering. I will do it. By a miracle God gave him at the first; and
by a miracle God can restore him. Yet when I shall have offered him for a burnt offering, he will be dead; and the only
miracle that can then restore him is a miracle that will bring him back from the dead.
But God is able to do even that, and He will do it; for His word is spoken. Even the bringing back of Isaac from the dead
will be to God no more than He has already done; for both my body and Sarah's were as good as dead, and yet God
brought forth Isaac from us. He can raise Isaac from the dead, and He will. Bless the Lord!
"Abraham ... arose and went to the place of which God had told him" (Gen. 22:3). Abraham expected to offer Isaac for a
burnt offering, and then see Isaac rise from the ashes and go back with him. For the word of God had gone forth, "In
Isaac your seed shall be called." And Abraham would trust that word only, that it could never fail. (Heb. 11:17-19).
THIS IS FAITH. And thus "the Scripture was fulfilled which says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him
for righteousness.'" To trust the word of God only, to depend upon the word of God only, even as against the word of
God--this is faith. This is the faith which brings the righteousness of God. [1]
"And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, 'In the Mount of the Lord it
shall be provided'" (Gen. 22:14).
I now would like to take you through the guidelines of how we will be praying unitedly. We will be
praying through 4 sections:
1. First we will begin with Praising God for who He is.
2. Then we will enter a time of Confession. Confessing our public sins publicly and our private sins in
the privacy of our hearts.
3. We will then enter a time of Supplication. Praying for:

● The Holy Spirit and the Latter Rain

● Lost, esp. our loved ones
● The 3 Angels’ Messages to all the World
● And for other needs that the Lord places on our hearts.

4. Lastly, we will end with thanksgiving before we end our time of United Prayer.
5. Please keep your prayers short (1-2 sentences)…
6. Stick to one topic each time you pray and….
7. Mute yourself if there is any background noise. Please don’t be offended if one of our facilitators
mutes you because we may be able to hear background noise that you are not hearing.
There is no need to say in Jesus’ name at the end of each short prayer. At the very end we will the
united prayer in Jesus’ name.
(Note: There is no need to include a Bible verse and reference every time you transition. We want to
keep it simple so that anyone who joins will think, “This is so simple, I can do it.” We want people to
take united prayer to their homes and to their churches. We don’t want people thinking, “It’s so
complicated. Being a prayer facilitator requires a lot of preparation and Bible knowledge.” Remember
KISSES.)
Begin United Prayer
7:07-7:09
Father in heaven, we thank you for the privilege of uniting in prayer together with your people from around the
world. We want to begin our season of united prayer by lifting our voices in praise to You for Your Word says “Let
everything that has breath praise the Lord.”
I want to begin by praising you because you are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. You are worthy to be
praised.
7:09-7:11
Father, we praise You for Jesus in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
At this time, we pray that you would send the Holy Spirit to search deep within our hearts and show us what we
need to confess and forsake.
I want to begin by confessing to you that I am so unlike Jesus our Example who when on earth had a patience
that nothing could disturb. Please forgive me.
7:11-7:15
We thank you for the beautiful promise in 1 John 1:9 that “if we confess are sins, you are faithful and just to
forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
At this time knowing that we have been cleansed, we now want to come boldly to Your throne of grace with our
requests. We want to begin our time of supplication focusing on our need for the Holy Spirit and for Revival.
I want to begin pleading with you for a mighty out-pouring of the Holy Spirit. Please fill our cups to overflowing.
7:15-7:19
Father, we thank you for hearing our prayers and for being so willing to give us the Holy Spirit.
At this time we want to focus on the lost, esp. our loved ones.
I want to begin by praying for our loved ones who are near and dear to our hearts who are not in the church.
Please have mercy on them and save them.
7:19-7:23
Father, we are encouraged by Your Word which tells us that You desire all men to be saved and come to a
knowledge of the truth.
At this time we want to focus on praying for the 3 Angels’ Messages to go to all the world.
I want to begin by praying that You would help each one of us to do our part in sharing the everlasting gospel
and getting the Great Controversy out.
7:23-7:27
Father, thank you for hearing our requests, we believe You will answer each prayer according to Your perfect will.
At This time we would like to bring our other requests before you which weigh heavy on our hearts.
I would like to begin by asking you to look with compassion on your children who are struggling with poor
health. Please draw near to them and bless them.
7:29/30
Father in heaven, we thank You for drawing near to us and hearing every request including the unspoken ones.
What a privilege it is for us to carry everything to you in prayer. Though we come to the end of our time of united
prayer, we ask that You would continue to bless us with the spirit of earnest prayer so we will go throughout this
day in unbroken union and communion with Thee. We pray all this in Jesus’ name, and all God’s people said,
AMEN.
