When performing the work steps and checks, observe the general safety information for
medical products. (TD00-000.860.01 / General Safety Notes)
After completing repair work and before turning the system over to the customer, the
ground wire resistance of the unit has to be tested.
CAUTION [hm_Serv_Training]
M WARNING AXIOM Artis dFCM and dBCM Systems with Magnetic Navi-
gation (NIOBE):
The two permanent magnets are installed by the Stereotaxis
Company. Magnetic objects can be attracted by the two per-
manent magnets and can fly through the air like shots.
¹ The safety information in the technical documents
from the Stereotaxis Company absolutely must be
observed.
WARNING [hm_serv_WarnSetUPSPowerMayBePresent]
WARNING [hm_serv_LabelPowerPresent]
Even after switching off the system (Shutdown), power is still
present at the control cabinet and generator.
If not observed, death or serious bodily injury can occur.
¹ Observe the warning signs in the cabinets.
¹ Switch off the power supply to the X-ray system with
the on-site on/off switch.
WARNING [hm_serv_CheckBypassImage]
Bypass image is not displayed on exam room display.
This can cause to an Interruption of interventional proce-
dure.
¹ Perform check of the bypass signal after service proce-
dure. With transition to bypass the analog video signal
is fed as second source to the live display in the exam
room. The display must switch in less than 2 seconds
to the analog signal (prio).
WARNING [hm_serv_FixCablesAfterService]
Unwanted disconnection of electrical cables.
This can cause to an interruption of interventional proce-
dure.
¹ Check fixation of connectors and cables after service
procedures.

9. Click on Go in the bottom command bar. The backup routine will start and a window
with a scrolling backup log ("Start Backup....”) will open.
Pack the defective RTC in the original packaging in exactly the same way as the new RTC
was shipped.
Make sure there is exactly the same seating in the foam plastic parts, otherwise it is pos-
sible that the RTC will be damaged during transport because of its great weight. In this hap-
pens, there will be no credit issued for the returned part!

Procedure 0
NOTE When plugging the ribbon cables into the X2 and X3 front
connectors on the COPRA or FDR2 board, extreme care must
be used to prevent the pins from getting damaged.
Do not plug in the cables using force or at an angle!
The SIRC is comprised of the SIRC-Connector-Panel and the SIRC-PCI Platine that are
connected to each other by three ribbon cables (X60/61/62).
The SIRC-Connector-Panel is the central connection point for the system data and signal
cables.
Two 7-segment displays, V45/44, display the RTC boot routine. The status of voltages and
signals can be read from the status LEDs. Test points on the X73 measuring strip are used
to check important input and output signals and voltages. The S1 switch is used to enable
radiation using the software for service purposes. In the normal mode, it is set to OFF.
