MOTIVATION LETTER
I choose PhD in computer science because Computer science is the study of the theory,
experimentation, and engineering that form the basis for the design and use of
computers. That is under the acquisition, representation, processing, storage, communication
of, and access to the scientific system of computation, structure, expression, and
mechanization of the methodical procedure to, information. An alternate, more succinct
definition of computer science is the study of automating algorithmic processes that scale.
Computer Engineers Design and develop application software for different industries,
Software Manages, hardware and networks in any industry, Develop software for hardware
components of PCs and laptops, Software for peripheral computing devices such as printers,
modems and scanners and Writes code and algorithms for operating systems like Windows,
Linux etc. During my graduate studies, the opportunity to meet people with similar interests
and really shaped me considerably. I acquired the fundamentals of various subjects like data
communication, computer organization and architecture, database management systems,
computer networks, etc. All these subjects provided me with a strong footing in the
theoretical concepts of information technology. My interest in this direction was another
positive point, which gives me an edge above other students. I excelled it with FIRST
DIVISION though there were others who scored better than me but I was appreciated for the
depth and clarity of my knowledge and the way I presented my papers.
The most important aspect of computer science is problem solving, an essential skill for life.
Students study the design, development and analysis of software and hardware used to solve
problems in a variety of business, scientific and social contexts. Because computers solve
problems to serve people, there is a significant human side to computer science as well.
Computer Science Engineering (CSE) encompasses a variety of topics that relates to
computation, like analysis of algorithms, programming languages, program design, software,
and computer hardware. It is the scientific and practical approach to computation and its
applications and the systematic study of the feasibility, structure, expression, and
mechanization of the methodical procedures (or algorithms) that underlie the acquisition,
representation, processing, storage, communication of, and access to, information. An
alternate, more succinct definition of computer science is the study of automating algorithmic
processes that scale. A computer scientist specializes in the theory of computation and the
design of computational systems. I have been able to keep myself abreast of all current
developments in the fields of information technology.
The education system in Italy literally opens the whole world to us. The focus of the
curriculum is not mere book knowledge but also on acquiring hands on experience and
practical applications of that knowledge. I am very much interested to do PhD in computer
science in your University. I realize the need for me to study at the center stage of activity in
these fields at your college. My decision to apply for your university in PhD in computer
science is based on the trainings I went through and the project work suits mine interests and
goals. The research facilities that are provided and ongoing projects are highly appealing to
me and I would not like to miss out an opportunity to be associated with the university's
program. I think it would be a mutually beneficial relationship where I can make use of the
faculty while you can expect hard work, diligence and tangible results from my side. I look
