Agnieszka Lasko is a Polish pianist, teacher and composer, whose collection of piano pieces Little Stories has become well known. The title
‘Tarantella’, used by many other composers too, is named after the Italian town of Taranto and indicates a folk dance from southern Italy. Whilst
the repeats are not required for Practical Grade exams, when they are included, the composer indicates that bars 1–8 and 25–32 are to be
repeated with both hands up an octave.
