story and underline the noun that it describes.
Once upon a time, there was a friendly little squirrel named Sammy. Sammy lived in a big oak tree in the
park with his family and friends. Every day, Sammy would scurry around the park collecting acorns and
nuts to store for the winter. One day, as Sammy was hopping around, he saw a group of birds chirping
and singing happily on a nearby tree. Sammy wanted to join in the fun, so he climbed up the tree to say
hello. The birds welcomed him with open wings and invited him to join their game of tag. Sammy was a
little nervous at first, but he soon found himself having a great time with his new friends. They played
and laughed and chased each other around the tree. When it was time for Sammy to go back to his oak
tree, the birds thanked him for playing with them and said they couldn't wait to play again. Sammy
smiled and waved goodbye, feeling happy and grateful for his new friends. From that day on, Sammy
would visit the birds every day to play and have fun. And every time he collected an acorn or nut, he
would save one for his feathered friends.
