A step by step guide on how to navigate through Tradingview tools and explore
various tools in order to analyze charts
1 To enable dark mode, click on profile on the left top corner of your screen.

2 Click on the "Dark mode" option to enable it.
3 Your screen will switch to "Dark mode" from light mode.

4 Click anywhere on the screen in order to close this profile tab.
5 The profile tab is now closed, you can continue your charts exploration further.

To close any promotional pop-ups appearing on your screen, click "x" given on the
6 right top of the same pop up.
To search or to change the scrip name, click on magnifying glass symbol on the
7 left top corner.

8 Simply type in the scrip name you want to analyse.
9 Select the security on the NSE platform (for stocks)
For stocks that do not appear on NSE, choose BSE

The symbol search tab is now closed, you can continue your charts exploration

11 In order to navigate the candlestick range, click on the "time frame" option.

12 Choose your intended range from the options provided.
For example, I have selected 1 hour range as highlighted in the image.

14 In order to navigate the Bar's style, click on the "candle" option.
15 For example, click on the line option to have the a line chart on your screen.

16 Now line chart is open.
17 In order to go back to the default candlestick option, click on "Candles".

18 Candlestick chart is now open.
19 To download the image of the chart, click on the camera icon.

20 Click "Download image"
To mark lines on the chart, hover over the “Trend line tools” option appearing on
21 the left hand side of your screen.

22 Click on the Horizontal Ray option.
To mark the Horizontal Ray alongside your intended price level, hover to that price
23 level and click on it.

24 After you click, the line will be plotted.
To mark the exact price level, we can use the magnet option from the toolbar on
25 the left hand side.

26 Click on the Strong Magnet option, to plot accurate price point.
27 Click "Strong Magnet".

Now, you just need to hover over the candles, and it'll automatically select the
28 exact highs and lows of the candle.
To zoom out or zoom in, just bring your cursor in the middle of the screen, the
29 pop up will appear, select "+" to zoom in and "-" to zoom out. You can also go right
and left of the screen using the arrows.

30 Screen is now customized as per your view.
31 To Zoom-In back into the chart, click on " Plus symbol ".

32 The range will be zoomed in.
