On the Hour
A clock has two hands. The short hand
is the hour hand. The long hand is the
minute hand.
Look at the hands of the clock. Color
the hour hand Yellow. Colour the
minute hand purple.
The hour hand is on the 9 and the
minute hand is on the 12. It is 9 o'clock.
We can also write the time as 9 o'clock
or 9:00.
