Normal: z ACE inhibitors z Acetaminophen
z ALT: 7 - 46 units/L z NSAIDs
z AST: 10-40 units/L Anti-infectives
z Erythromycin Tuberculosis
z Fluconazole z Rifampin
Unusual fatigue/weakness, loss of z INH
z Itraconazole
appetite, pain in upper abdomen, dark-
colored urine, yellowing of skin or eyes Alcohol Psych
z Phenothiazines

WATCH FOR:
Bad for Kidneys (Nephrotoxicity)
Radiocontrast media Elevated BUN
(especially with Normal:
Antibiotics
metformin) z 7 - 20 mg/dL (2.5 - 7.1 mmol/L)
z Gentamicin
z Amphotericin B Lithium salts
z Rifampin Elevated serum creatinine
ACE inhibitors Normal:
z INH
NSAIDs z Women: 0.6 - 1.1 mg/dL
Chemotherapy z Men: 0.7 - 1.3 mg/dL
z Cisplatin
