UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT
Unsportsmanlike conduct in sports refers to behavior or actions by players, spectators, or even house teachers that violate the principles
of fair play, sportsmanship, and ethical conduct within the sporting context.
Such behavior is considered unacceptable in sports and often leads to penalties, fines, or other disciplinary actions.

Here are some common examples of unsportsmanlike conduct in sports:

- Taunting or Trash Talking: This involves insulting, mocking, or verbally abusing opponents with the intention of disrupting their focus or
causing emotional distress. It can create a hostile and unsportsmanlike atmosphere.

- Physical Altercations: Engaging in fights, shoving matches, or physical altercations with opponents is a clear violation of sportsmanship.
Such behavior can result in ejections, suspensions, or fines.

- Disrespecting Officials: Arguing excessively with referees or umpires, using offensive language, or showing disrespect towards
their decisions is a form of unsportsmanlike conduct. It undermines the authority of the officials and disrupts the game.
- Hate Speech or Discrimination: Any form of hate speech, racism, sexism, or discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion, or
other factors is not tolerated in sports and is a clear violation of sportsmanship.

* Therefore, players shaking hands before and after a game is a compulsory practice in the Annual Games Carnival this year to
promote sportsmanship and respect among competitors. While it can help prevent unsportsmanlike conduct and maintain a positive atmosphere

ACTION
1ST = YELLOW CARD / WARNING
2ND = RED CARD AND PENALTY
Penalty = 5 Points from total AGC points

* Implementing strict actions, including banning a player from the entire Annual Games Carnival, for serious unsportsmanlike conduct will
be taken. It sends a strong message that such behavior will not be tolerated and upholds the integrity of the First House Cup Event.

badminton, & table-tennis. NO other house jerseys may be worn for these events.

Supporters must be in House Sports Attire

If there is no school t-shirt available in any one student’s size, the House Captain must inform the Head of Sports no later than ONE WEEK
before the scheduled game. In these cases, the student is allowed to wear an all-white t-shirt. After this, permission will not be granted and the
player will not be allowed to play without a house t-shirt.
Infraction: Match forfeiture.

Shorts, tennis skirts and trackbottoms of any (predominantly solid) colour are allowed. Denim and patterned bermudas are NOT allowed.

* Non-house school issues shirts
* Patterned shorts

* be unreasonable to be used for sports. Discretion lies with the Sports Department. To be safe, you should just wear normal sports shoes.
It is Games Carnival week after all. This particular rule was not made clear in 2010 and as such, penalties were not given. It will be
