BUSINESS CONTRACT
OBJECTIVES
The Melody Band is a group of musicians united to entertain and inspire audiences through music. Our mission is to
provide soulful satisfaction, encouragement, and entertainment in a positive manner.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Melody Band will arrive at the venue early to set up for the event.
2. The Band is entitled to transportation allowance for each rehearsal session.
3. Band leaders have discretion over decisions regarding lateness or other delays by the other party.
4. Rehearsal allowances must be paid to band leaders prior to each rehearsal session.
5. Rehearsal sessions are organized and managed by the Band, free from interference by the other party, although the
other party may observe rehearsals.
6. The other party must remit 50% of the total fee at least one week before the event, with the remaining balance due
on the day of the event.
7. The Band reserves the right to cancel performances if full payment is not received before the event. Any pre-paid
amounts are non-refundable and will be retained as compensation for lost time.
8. The other party must inform the Band's leaders of any matters concerning the event's music and preparation.
