Title: Smart Agriculture System using IoT

Abstract:

The increasing global demand for food, combined with the

challenges of climate change, soil degradation, and water
scarcity, necessitates the development of more efficient and
sustainable agricultural practices. To address these challenges,
we propose a smart agriculture system that leverages Internet
of Things (IoT) sensors, machine learning algorithms, and
precision farming techniques. The system monitors and
analyzes soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and other
environmental factors to optimize crop growth, reduce water
consumption, and minimize the use of chemical fertilizers and
pesticides. The system also uses machine learning algorithms
to predict crop yields, detect diseases, and recommend optimal
harvesting times. Our results show that the smart agriculture
system can increase crop yields by up to 25%, reduce water
consumption by up to 30%, and minimize the use of chemical
fertilizers and pesticides by up to 50%.
