*Preface&Basic Mechanisms
This manual assumes that you are familiar with the basic gameplay mechanisms of the
official Touhou Project games.
1. With the same type of game, Touhou Kikamu carries on the tradition of the Touhou
Project series. Thus what you should keep in mind is focusing on evading the
bullets ahead.
2. To achieve more resources, we recommend you to choose the high-speed mode during
the stage.
In slow-speed mode, your character will shoot all kinds of enemies. Under this
circumstance, not only the score bonus will be lower, but also revenge bullets will
appear from the enemies' dead. Just consider it as the last straw, then dodge it!
In high-speed mode, your character won't shoot the small-scale enemies, while the
large-scale and medium-scale enemies will be damaged. Under this circumstance, you
can trigger the special mechanism "Dyeing".

possible small-scale enemies
If you destroy enemies in the way of "Double-Dyed", the bonus will be doubled as
well.
In this case, to get more bonus items and scores, we recommend players to program
the track of enemies and destroy them at the right time.
Here comes the advanced introduction.
*The type of enemies
All the enemies of Kikamu(Except bosses) can be divided into two categories.
Large-scale enemies include: Large fairy, medium fairy, Onmyou-dama(Yin-yang orb).
Small-scale enemies include: Tiny fairy, will-o-the-wisp, Kedama(Hairball).
All the collisions between your character and enemies won't be determined as
missed(except bosses). Therefore, you can shotgun in the face of enemies freely
LOL.
In other words, in high-speed mode(human-side), your character won't shoot the
small-scale enemies, while the large-scale and medium-scale enemies will be
damaged. In slow-speed mode(youkai-side), your character will shoot all kinds of
enemies.
*Special Mechanism "Dyeing"
All the large-scale enemies are carrying circles with red or blue color, these
circles have the function of dyeing.
When the large-scale enemies are shot down, all the small-scale enemies in the
circle will be dyed. In addition, the bullets inside will be cleared as well.
There are 4 colors for the small-scale enemies: white, green, red, blue. You can
determine them with the color of their images.
The white ones will be dyed by the circle with its color.
If the colored ones are dyed, they will be destroyed at once. This case is named as
"Double-Dyed"
*tips: Only white and green ones will born naturally.
*Chain Dyeing
If you shut down more than 3 enemies with "Double-Dyed", the chain dyeing gauge
will increase(which locates in the lower right corner).
Enter the next stage or respawn will reset the chain dyeing gauge.
When the chain gauge qualifies, the game comes into LSC phase of this stage.
*Bonus item
All the items from the enemy will be fetched automatically, so you needn't worry
about that.
There are 4 kinds of items: Red point, Blue point, Green point, Bullet clear point.
①.Red point:
Usage: Once you get 400 red point, the lives will extend 1 more.
Access: 1. destroy red fairy under the slow-speed mode, each one gives 1 red point.
2. When the large-scale enemy with red circle is destroyed, if you trigger the
"double-dyed", each of the destroyed small-scale enemies will give 2 red points.
3. Destroy the spell card or non-spell, it gives several red point.
②.Blue point
Usage: Gives bonus scores.
Access: 1. destroy blue fairy under the slow-speed mode, each one gives 1 blue
point.
2. When the large-scale enemy with blue circle is destroyed, if you trigger the
"double-dyed", each of the destroyed small-scale enemies will give 2 blue points.
3. Destroy the spell card or non-spell, it gives several red point.
③.Green point
Usage: Once you get 100 green point, the bomb will extend 1 more.
Access: 1. destroy green fairy under the slow-speed mode, each one gives 1 green
point.
2. Destroy the spell card or non-spell, it gives several green points.
④.Bullet clear point
Usage: Gives 10000 point, and increase 10 in PIV(Point Item Value)
Access: Clear bullets with a bomb or destroy the large-scale enemy. Each cleared
bullet gives 1 bullet clear point.
*Character
There are 3 pairs of characters for you to choose:
[Link] Hakurei & Yukari Hakumo: Focus on homing.
Movement speed: Reimu 4.5; Yukari 2.5
Counter bomb frame: 42F(0.7Sec)
*The priority of Yukari's homing fire: Boss>Large-scale enemy>Small-scale enemy
[Link] Kirisame & Yuyuko Saigyouji: Focus on direct attack
Movement speed: Marisa 5.0; Yuyuko 2.5
Counter bomb frame: 32F(0.53Sec)
*The laser of Marisa cannot pierce enemies.
[Link] no Mokou&Keine Kamishirasawa
Movement speed: Mokou 5.0; Keine 2.5
Counter bomb frame: 32F(0.53Sec)
*The bullet of mokou with note form will stick to enemies, you can press shift to
ignite them(if not do so, they will explore automatically 10 sec later)
