2-Way Active Crossover with Linear Phase Response
This circuit is an active 2-way crossover that follows the design philosophy of an active 3-way crossover with linear phase response, but for
applications that follow the philosophy of two-way speakers. You can see a theoretical analysis in the same circuit. It is best to select
standard capacitor values first and then calculate the resistor values. Depending on the cutting frequency you choose, you may need to place
some resistors in parallel or in order to get as close as possible to the theoretical computational value. This is easier and more accurate. In
place of the TR1-2-3 trimmers you can install potentiometers. Figures Fig.2 to Fig.4 contain functional information as well as the types of
material calculation.Fc = 3KHZ .
This circuit of is 2-way active crossover that follows the philosophy of 3-way crossover with linear phase response, for applications however
that follows the 2-way active crossover philosophy. Theoretical analysis you can see in the same circuit. Thus better being you select the
standard capacitor values first and then calculating the resistor values. Proportionally the cut-off frequency that you will probably select, it
will be supposed to place you certain resistors at parallel or in line so that you achieve value as much as possible more near in the theoretical
calculation value. This is easier and precise. In the place the trimmer TR1-2-3 you can place potesometer. In the pictures Fig.2 until Fig.4,
exist functional information as well as the calculation types of components. From the exit Low Out we take the signal that drives a power
amplifier and the low speaker [Woofer], from the exit High Out respectively is drive the power amplifier of the high speaker [Tweeter]. The
component values that I give in the components list they are in effect for cut-off frequencyFc = 3KHZ .
