COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the course, the students are expected to be able to:
1. Cite specific examples in which accounting is used in making business decisions.
COURSE OUTLINE:
One (1) semester is equivalent to eighteen (18) weeks, or its equivalent of normally six (6)
school days a week, or one hundred (100) days (CHED Memorandum Order No. 40, Series of
2008).

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
-Describe the nature of business transactions and give examples.
14th to 17th Week
-Identify the different types of sources and accountable
documents that form part of business transactions.
-Learn the rules of debits and credits and apply this in recording
business transactions.
- Know the accounting process and apply this to simple business
transactions and in the preparation of financial reports.
- Know the accounting period.
- Prepare journal entry, general ledger and trial balance.
