Observations and conclusions about the 100-peso bill under UV and infrared light:
Observation Under UV Light:
Certain areas on the bill, such as fibers, threads, or patterns, glow under UV light. These features are often invisible
under normal lighting. Some serial numbers may fluoresce if they are printed with UV-reactive ink. The paper itself
should not glow under UV light if it is genuine (as counterfeit paper often fluoresces).
Observation Under Infrared (IR) Light:
Certain inks (often used in security printing) may absorb or disappear under IR light.
Security Threads- Embedded threads or features may be visible or more pronounced under IR light.
Layered Design- Infrared imaging may reveal differences in how the ink layers were applied, highlighting genuine
printing techniques.
Conclusions:
The combination of UV and IR light analysis provides a reliable method for detecting counterfeit bills. Authentic 100-
peso bills will exhibit specific security features under both types of light that counterfeit bills typically lack due to the
complexity and cost of replication.
Observations and conclusions about the 200-peso bill under UV and infrared light:
Observations under UV Light
Fluorescent Fibers: The 200-peso bill likely contains fluorescent fibers embedded in the paper. These fibers
would glow brightly under UV light, appearing as bright lines or patterns. This is a common security feature
in modern banknotes.
- Watermark: The watermark, a faint image embedded in the paper, might become more visible under UV
light. It could be a portrait, a design element, or a unique identifier specific to the denomination.
Observations under Infrared Light
Infrared-Sensitive Inks: The bill might use infrared-sensitive inks to create hidden patterns, images, or text.
These features would be invisible under normal light but become visible under infrared light.
- Hidden Images: There could be hidden images or patterns embedded in the bill that are only visible under
infrared light. This is another way to enhance the banknote's security.
Conclusion
The presence and appearance of these security features under UV and infrared light are crucial for
verifying the authenticity of the 200-peso bill. Counterfeiters would find it extremely difficult to replicate
these features accurately, making them a powerful deterrent. The use of UV and infrared-sensitive features
demonstrates the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas' commitment to protecting the integrity of the Philippine
peso and preventing counterfeiting.
Observations and conclusions about the 500-peso bill under UV and infrared light:
Observations under UV Light
Fluorescent Security Threads- Thin security threads or strips embedded in the bill may glow under UV light.
They often appear as bright lines or patterns.
Invisible Fluorescent Features- Certain parts of the design, such as serial numbers, logos, or symbols, may
fluoresce in distinct colors (e.g., yellow, green, or blue).
Microtexts or images visible only under UV light may appear on certain sections of the bill.
Paper Material- Genuine bills typically do not fluoresce uniformly under UV light, as the high-quality paper
used is treated to avoid glowing.
Watermarks and Seals- The watermark or embedded features may become more distinct under UV light,
depending on the design.
Observations under Infrared (IR) Light
Printed Ink Reaction- Some areas of the bill may absorb or reflect IR light differently, revealing specific
patterns or hidden features.
Infrared-absorbing inks are often used in certain parts of the bill to verify authenticity.
Conclusions
Observing the 500-peso bill under UV and IR light helps verify its authenticity by confirming the presence of
advanced security features, such as fluorescent elements, special inks, and disappearing patterns. A
counterfeit bill may lack these advanced security features or exhibit uneven fluorescence, incorrect color
responses, or poor-quality printing.
Observations and conclusions about the 1000-peso bill under UV and infrared light:
Observations under UV Light
Embedded or windowed security threads glow brightly in specific colors, such as blue,
green, or yellow. Certain areas, such as the serial number or parts of the central design,
fluoresce distinctly in bright colors (e.g., red, orange, green). Symbols, patterns, or microtext
that are invisible under normal light become visible under UV light. Genuine 1000-peso bills
typically do not glow uniformly under UV light due to their high-quality paper.
Observations under Infrared (IR) Light
Certain design elements, such as portraits or decorative patterns, may fade or disappear
under IR light. This is a security feature that ensures the use of IR-absorbing or non-reactive
inks.
Conclusions:
The combination of UV and IR features emphasizes the intricate design of the 1000-peso
bill, reflecting advanced technology and strict security protocols.
By analyzing the bill under UV and IR light, institutions and individuals can effectively
determine its authenticity and identify any forgeries.

SIGNATURE
Observation:
My observation is you can notice the difference between the original or genuine signature
and the forge signature by observing his ink you will see that the fake signature is emphatic
and the ink is thick unlike the original which only has thin writing and it is you can tell it's
genuine because the writing is natural.
Conclusion:
You can compare the two signatures and you will see that the forge is wide or the ink is
thick because the writing is stressed and slow because it is just copied from the original
signature.
