Lesson objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
 Identify and describe items of clothes using colours.
 Describe what they are wearing.

Warm-up 15 min

Activity: Clothes flashcards

 Stick the flashcards of clothes on the board.

 Ask Ss to listen practice the name of the clothes items.

 Board race: a couple of pairs play to point at the flashcards they hear.

Instruct and model 20 min

1. Introduce Vocabulary

o Display the first image (6D Clothes).

o Go through each numbered clothing item and ask students to repeat after you. Use gestures or point to
the items to reinforce understanding.

o Example: “This is a coat. Repeat: coat.”

2. Listening Practice (Track 3.10 in the image)

o Play the listening track and have students repeat the vocabulary.

Guided practice 25 min

Activity 1: Matching Clothes to People

1. Instructions:

o Show the first image (6D Clothes).

o Play Track 3.11 for listening practice.

o Ask students: "Who is wearing the jumper?" or "Who is wearing the dress?".

o Students should answer using A, B, C, D, or E.

2. Follow-Up Speaking Practice:

o In pairs, students ask and answer:


"What is person D wearing?"
Example: "Person D is wearing a black jacket, trousers, and a tie."

Activity 2: Sentence Writing & Coloring

1. Show the second image (family).


2. Hand out copies or display the image.

o Students color the picture based on your instructions or their own choice (e.g., "The mother is wearing a
red dress.").

o After coloring, students complete the sentences:

 The mother is wearing a blue dress.

 The father is wearing...

Independent practice 10 min

Activity: What Are You Wearing?

1. Students work in pairs.

2. They describe their own clothes and their partner’s clothes.

o Example: "I’m wearing a blue shirt and jeans. My partner is wearing a green sweater."

Assessment 3 min

Activity: Quick Recap

 Show flashcards

 Ask individual students to name the items or say what someone else is wearing.

 Example: "What am I wearing?" or "What is Maria wearing?"

Homework:

 Draw a picture of a person or a family and write sentences about what they are wearing.

 Example: "The boy is wearing a green jacket and black shoes."
