Regards to the above-mentioned subject and your vacancy announcement posted into web site
February 2025, herein am express my interest in the position of Legal Counsel II at the Tanzania
Revenue Authority. I am a Tanzanian citizen of 28 years of age having Bachelor of Laws degree
and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice and currently I serve as a practicing Advocate of
the High Court of Tanzania with Roll No. 12868.

During my tenure as an Advocate I gained considerable expertise in areas that align with the
responsibilities of a Legal Counsel. Firstly, I managed complex case files, providing me with a
solid foundation in developing thorough analyses and strategic approaches to legal issues.
Secondly, my role required me to regularly engage with clients and other stakeholders, refining
my communication skills and my ability to negotiate effectively. Lastly, I was involved in
drafting and reviewing legal documentation, ensuring precise attention to detail and compliance
with the appropriate legal frameworks.

In addition to my work experience, I possess several strengths that I believe make me a strong
candidate for this role. My Computer Knowledge and problem-solving skills have been
sharpened through working on varied legal issues, enabling me to identify and implement
effective solutions quickly in this innovation generation as well as decision-making capability is
another asset, developed through evaluating legal strategies and anticipating outcomes. This
ability will support me in making informed and timely decisions that align with the goals and
legal obligations of the Tanzania Revenue Authority.
I am particularly drawn to the Tanzania Revenue Authority because of its critical role in shaping
the economic landscape of our country. I would be honored to contribute to its mission by
ensuring legal compliance and supporting its strategic objectives.
