Q1. What is maximum time for absent penalty? (LAW 24.2.3)


Ans: Limited to a maximum of 90 minutes.

Q.2. A player comes on the field without permission and comes in contact with the ball in
play, what action you can take? (LAW 24.4)
Ans: The ball shall immediately become dead.
- The umpire shall award 5 Penalty runs to the batting side.
- Runs completed by the batsmen shall be scored together with the run in
progress if they had already crossed at the instant of the offence.
- The ball shall not count as one of the over.
- The umpire shall inform the other umpire, the captain of the fielding side,

- signal No ball to the scorers if applicable;
- -award any 5-run Penalty that is applicable except for Penalty runs under
Law 28.3 (Protective helmets belonging to the fielding side).
