IV. PROCEDURE

Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity

A. Preliminary Activity

a. Greetings
"Good morning Pupils" "Good morning Teacher”

b. Prayer
“Before we start, let us pray first” Angel of God, my guardian dear, To whom
God's love commits me here, Ever this
day, be at my side, To light and guard,
Rule and guide. Amen. Angel of God, my
guardian dear, To whom God's love

side, To light and guard, Rule and guide.
Amen.
c. Checking of Attendance
" Which row has an absent today?"
"Good to hear that" " None Teacher "

d. Classroom rules
Recalling of the classroom rules.
Listen carefully
Raise your hand
Wait for your turn
Work Quietly
e. Review
“Just to review, who among you here can still “ Our lesson last meeting are all about
remember what we have discussed last Weathers”
meeting?”

“Very good, its all about Weathers. What are

the Weathers that we discussed yesterday?

“Yes (name)?" “The Weathers that we discussed teacher,

are Sunny day, Windy day, Rainy day,
Cloudy day and Stormy day.

“Wow! Lets clap our hands to (name)"

f. Motivation

“To start our lesson for this morning, we will “Yes Teacher”
have a game. Do you want to play a game?"

" But before that, I have here a video that is

connected to activity today"

" You need to remember and watch carefully

"Okay teacher"
the video, Okay students?

(I will the video)

" We need to dance while video is playing"

(All students dance and participate)
( The video was finished)

" You enjoy the video student? "

"Yes, teacher"
"So now we've come back to our game"

“The title of our game is Invent a Planet, you

need to think your dream planet and draw it
inside the circle" (Students listen carefully)

" You have 5 minutes to do it"

“Are we all clear students?"
"Yes Teacher"
" Very good students!"

Direction: Draw your own planet! Think about

what it looks like, and what makes it special.

"Wow, your creation was all beautiful"

"Thankyou teacher"
ACTIVITY

I have here another activity, It called Solar

System Word Search, you need to find the word
that listed down.

(I will call 9 students to come infront to answer)

Direction: Find the words listed below and mark

them.
ANALYSIS

" I think you know what's our topic today based "Yes Teacher"
on our activity, right?"

" So, what are these?" “ It is all about the planet in the solar
system Teacher”
" Very good"

" What is your prior knowledge about solar “ Solar system is where we can see the
system?" planets, sun, asteroid, moon and comets."

" Very good"

" What planet is familiar to you? " " Our planet teacher, because we live here
and this is the only planet that has a
people"

" For you what is the most beautiful planet?

Why?" " The Earth teacher, because it's our own
planet"
“Very good.
ABSTRACTION

" Now let's proceed to our topic today. Are you Yes teacher
ready students?"

" The Solar System is a space in which there is

the Sun and planets revolve around it due to a
force known as gravity. The Earth, the other
planets, stars, asteroids, and comets that exist
in this space make up the Solar System.

Sun

The Sun is the gigantic star at the center of our

Solar System. It’s responsible for providing the
energy that makes life possible on Earth. With
its enormous gravitational pull, it keeps all the
planets, moons, and space debris in orbit. The
Sun is mostly made of hydrogen and helium,
constantly undergoing nuclear reactions that
create heat and light.

"Who can recite the 8 planets?"

(Students raising their hands)
"Yes, (name)"
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter,
Saturn, Uranus, Neptune "
" Very good (name), let's clap our hands"
(Clapping)

"Who can tell me about our first planet that is

Mercury?" Students raising their hands)

" The planet that is nearest to the sun and

" Yes, very good!" no atmosphere, teacher "

Mercury (THE SMALLEST)

 is the smallest planet in our solar

system
 is a rocky planet with an iron core, rocky
mantle, and crust.
 has extreme temperatures
 has the thinnest atmosphere of any
planet
 has no moons or rings
 is the fastest planet, orbiting the sun
every 88 Earth days.
 named after the swiftest of the ancient
Roman gods.

What can you say about the 2nd planet (name)"

Teacher the 2nd planet is the hottest
" Very good!" among the 8 planets"

Venus (THE HOTTEST)

 is the hottest planet in our solar system

 has a thick atmosphere that traps heat,
making it very hot.
 It takes 243 Earth days to complete one
rotation.
 it orbits the sun in 225 Earth days
 has an active surface
 has no moons
 The name Venus comes from Roman
mythology

"How about the third planet? Who wants to

share their knowledge about our third planet?"

" Very good " " The third planet teacher is our planet, the
Earth, Earth was the only one can form
life."

Earth (OUR HOME)

 is a rocky planet with a solid and

dynamic surface.
 Earth's atmosphere is 78% nitrogen,
21% oxygen, and 1% other gases
 70% of Earth's surface is covered by
oceans
 rotates on its axis every 24 hours, which
creates day and night
 Earth orbits the Sun, taking about
365.25 days to complete one revolution
 has one moon
 the only planet in our solar system with
active plate tectonic
 the only planet in our solar system
known to support life

"Who can tell me what is the fourth planet?"

" Very good"

"What you know about Mars?"

" Teacher, the fourth planet is Mars"

Mars (THE RED PLANET)

" Mars orbits in 3 times a day, and is so
 half the size of Earth and the second close to the planet's surface that in some
smallest planet locations on Mars it cannot always be
 known as the Red Planet seen."
 the average temperature on Mars is -
85°F
 has a thin atmosphere made up of
carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and argon
 Mars has seasons similar to Earth
 has volcanoes
 has polar ice caps

"What is the fifth planet? And who can tell me

about it?

"Very good"

" Jupiter teacher, Jupiter is the largest in

Jupiter (THE LARGEST) the Solar System. It is also called a gas
giant teacher "
 the largest planet
 a gas giant
 has large storms
 has many moons
 has faint rings that are likely made of
material from meteor bombardment of
its moons

What is the next planet?" What is your prior

knowledge about it?"

" Very good "

" Saturn teacher, it is a gas giant, with an
Saturn (HAVING A RING) average radius of about nine times that of
Earth"
 is a gas giant
 is an oblate spheroid
 surrounded by a ring system
 has 146 moons
 the least dense planet
 rotates about once every 10.5 hours

"What is the seventh planet? and give me a

short description about it."

" Very good "

" Uranus is the seventh planet from the

Sun. It is a gaseous cyan-coloured ice
Uranus (THE COLDEST) giant. Most of the planet is made of water,
ammonia, and methane in a supercritical
 the third largest planet phase of matter, which astronomy calls
 rotates on its side, at a nearly 90-degree "ice". "
angle from the plane of its orbit
 has a set of 13 faint rings
 has more than two dozen small moons
 has the second fastest winds
 was first observed by William Herschel
in 1781
 The Voyager 2 probe flew by Uranus in
1986

"What is the last planet? Give me a short

description of it"

" Very good "

" Neptune is the eighth and farthest known

Neptune (THE FARTHEST) planet from the Sun. It is the fourth-largest
planet in the Solar System by diameter, the
 the most distant major planet third-most-massive planet, and the densest
 made of ice, rock, hydrogen, helium, giant planet. "
water, ammonia, and methane
 has the fastest winds
 has 16 known moons
 has six rings,
 was discovered in 1846 based on
mathematical calculations of its
predicted

"This is the planets in the solar system. Is there

any questions regarding to may lesson
students?"

" So, I prepared some questions regarding to

my lesson, let see if you listen to me"

" Don't answer in chorus, okay? just raise your

hand if you want to answer "
"None, Teacher"
