ABSTRACT
Bootstrap amplifier is a type of amplifier circuit that uses a
technique to increase the input impendance of the circuit. It
typically involves a bioplar junction transistor (bjt) and a
capacitor that “boosts” the input impedance by feeding back
a portion of the output signal to the input signal this
feedback helps maintain constant voltage across the
input, making it easier for the circuit to handel signals
without loading them down the bootsrap amplifier is
commonly used in the situation where high input
impedance is needed, such as in buffer circuits and audio
amplifiers.
PROBLEM DEFINITION
Bootstrap amplifiers using BJTs can encounter several issues
that may affect their performance . “As electronic devices
become sensitive to noise, maintaining signal integrity is
crucial for high – fidelity audio applications”. This project
aims to analyze the factors contributing to instability and
develop solutions to enhance amplifier performance . This
project addresses the bias instability and distortion in
bootstrap amplifiers using BJT, aiming to enhance their
performance in audio applications.
INTRODUCTION
The bootstrap amplifier is a circuit that enchances input
impendance by using positive feedback through a capacitor.
The bjt,operating in a common-emitter configuration,is a
commony used in bootsrap amplifier to achieve higher input
impedance and the performance bjts are favored in bootstrap
designs for their high transconductance and the ability to
achieve significant gain. The interaction between gte bjt
inherent characteristics and the bootsrap feedback network is
crucial for the amplifier performance.

FUTURE SCOPE
The BOOTSTRAP AMPLIFIERUSING BJT is a widely used
circuit in analog design due to its high input
impendance and stable gain characteristics and
continues to be relevant in both present and future
technologies, particularly in areas like low-power
devices, biomedical instrumentation, RF design, and
high-speed communications.
