At Aayaas Counselling Center, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of


psychologists by providing a structured learning environment that enhances both theoretical
knowledge and practical skills. Our internship program is tailored for students pursuing
Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, or MPhil degrees in Psychology, offering them valuable
exposure to the various facets of this field.

Duration: 1 Month​
Eligibility: Students pursuing or completed Bachelor's or Master's in Psychology ​
Weekly Commitment: 6 Hours (Monthly: 24 Hours), EVERY Mon, Wed, Fri: 5-7pm​
Batch Size: Minimum 6, Maximum 12 Interns

Program Highlights:

●​ Case History Taking: Develop the skill to effectively gather and document
comprehensive case histories.
●​ Mental Status Examination (MSE): Learn how to conduct and assess detailed MSEs,
an essential diagnostic tool.
●​ Introduction to Psychological Assessments and Tests: Gain foundational knowledge
of administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests.
●​ Weekly Case Discussions: Participate in insightful case discussions led by
RCI-licensed professionals, broadening your clinical understanding.
●​ Case Reflection and Supervision: Enhance your clinical reasoning through reflection
and supervision on real-world cases.
●​ Exposure to Psychotherapeutic Modalities: Acquire an introductory understanding of
various psychotherapeutic approaches and their applications.
●​ Content Creation: Develop skills in writing blogs and articles on psychological topics,
strengthening your communication abilities.
●​ Overview of Psychology Career Paths: Explore diverse career opportunities in
Clinical, Counselling, Industrial, School Psychology, and more.
●​ Webinar and Workshop Moderation: Gain experience in moderating webinars and
workshops, improving your presentation and organizational skills.
●​ Observing Support Groups: Observe therapeutic group dynamics and gain insight into
the functioning of support groups.
