Mechanics for Developing the School-Based Training of Teachers Implementation Plan (SBTT)
1. Collaborative Preparation of the SBTT:
● School Head shall prepare the SBTT based on the context of the school.
● Discuss the SBTT with the teachers. Engage the teachers in collaboration to provide input in coming up with the final draft of the SBTT.
● School Heads and Master Teachers’ roles and responsibilities must be clearly defined as PMT member. PMT includes Program Manager, Learning Manager,
Resource Persons, M&E Officer, Documenter, etc.)
2. Interim Vetting and Feedback:
● Midway through the plan development, each teacher will provide constructive feedback.
● This interim review ensures that any significant issues or gaps can be identified early, and corrections or valuable additions can be made before the final
presentation.
3. Revision and Finalization:
● After the interim vetting and feedback giving, the school head will finalize the SBTT. The focus here is on refining and ensuring the feasibility and effectiveness
of the strategies.
4. Refinement of the SBTT:
● For further refinements, School Head will engage the Master Teachers and teachers to provide final inputs, highlighting strengths and suggesting
improvements.
5. Submission of SBTT):
● The SBTT will be submitted to the Office of the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent for review and recommendation for the approval of the Schools
Division Superintendent.
