Symptom

• You are creating an Order using the Fiori App "Create Maintenance Order" and noticed that not all order
types are available for selection.
• You are trying to change a specific order (example: refurbishment order) using the "Change Order" App
and you receive the error:

"Refurbishment orders cannot be maintained by this application"

Environment

• SAP ERP Plant Maintenance (PM)


• SAP ERP Customer Service (CS)
• SAP R/3
• SAP R/3 Enterprise
• SAP ERP Central Component
• SAP ERP
• SAP Enhancement package for SAP ERP
• SAP Enhancement package for SAP ERP, version for SAP HANA
• SAP S/4HANA, on-premise

Reproducing the Issue

1. Open "Create Maintenance Order" App


2. Use the dropdown list for Order Type
3. Not all order types are available for selection.

OR

1. Open "Change Order" App


2. Enter in your desired order number
3. Press Execute.
4. System Generates the error: "Refurbishment orders cannot be maintained by this application"

Cause

This is expected system behaviour in this case.

Resolution

At this moment the following order types are not available for use within the Fiori application:

• Refurbishment Orders
• Service Orders
• Compatible Unit (CU) Orders

You will need to use the GUI transactions for these order types through SAP GUI or the related WebGUI
application
