Answers
1. Product management can be defined as the business process that involves the planning,
developing, landing and managing a product.
It involves offering solutions to problems faced in the act of creating a product which will be
usable to the final consumer and generate profit to the organization/body.

2. The 5 stages of design thinking include:


i. Empathise
ii. Define
iii. Ideate
iv. Prototype
v. Test and Iterate.

3. The difference between empathy and sympathy involves the level at which one immerse
his/herself in the situation of the customer.
Empathy involves putting yourself in the customer’s position so one can immerse
himself/herself in their own point of view when dealing with the product difficulty and
proposed a viable and feasible solution, while sympathy involves emotional condolence to
an event or problem.
