Option 1: The AI Startup Incubator – From Idea to MVP
🚀 What’s the Mission?
● Assemble Your Startup Team: Up to 3 co-founders. The requirements remain the
same regardless of group size. Graduate students are expected to deliver
higher-quality projects.
● Identify a Market Gap: What AI product or service does the world need? Prove
there's demand.
● Go Beyond the Model: The best AI ideas don’t just work—they’re scalable and
impactful.
⚠️ Important: Idea Evaluation Matters!
Your project is not just about implementation—your startup idea itself is part of the
assessment. You must justify the market need, feasibility, and impact of your AI solution.
📌 Poster Session in 3 Weeks:
To validate your concept early, you will participate in a poster session in 3 weeks, where
you’ll pitch your idea and explain your technical plan.
🔧 Technical Requirements:
● Startup-Style Pitch: Don’t just tell us about your model—sell the full business
vision.
● Train Two Models for Deployment: One baseline model and one optimized version
(e.g., a rule-based system vs. an ML model, or an off-the-shelf model vs. a fine-tuned
one).
● Deploy Like a Pro: Dockerize it and serve it via an API.
● GitHub + Documentation: Tell the story of your AI innovation.
● Interactive UI Required: Build a functional web or mobile UI so users can interact
with your AI model. A simple Streamlit, Flask, React, or Flutter app is acceptable.
● Bonus: Cloud-Ready Solution: Deploy your model using AWS, GCP, or any cloud
platform.
📩 Submission Criteria:
● Business Validation: Show how your AI product fits in the market.
● GitHub is Your Company Portfolio: A clean, well-organized repository.
● The 5-Minute Investor Pitch: Convince us why someone should invest in your AI
startup.
🎯 Optional Theme: AI for Education or Healthcare
💡
Focus on an AI-driven solution for:
Education: Adaptive learning, personalized tutoring, AI-assisted grading, student
analytics, etc.
💉 Healthcare: AI-assisted diagnosis, patient monitoring, predictive analytics, or
accessibility tech.
🔥 Bonus: The most impactful EdTech or HealthTech project will get an exclusive
showcase opportunity with education or healthcare industry leaders
Option 2: The AI Innovation Lab – Multi-Modal Mastery
🚀 What’s the Mission?
● Team Up: Up to 3 AI innovators needed. The requirements remain the same
regardless of group size. Graduate students are expected to deliver higher-quality
projects.
● Tackle a Multi-Modal Problem: Your project must involve at least two types of data
(e.g., text & images, time series & structured data).
● Be Bold: Multi-modal AI is the future, let’s prove it!
⚠️ Important: Idea Evaluation Matters!
Your project is not just about implementation, your idea itself is part of the assessment.
You must justify the market need, feasibility, and impact of your AI solution.

you’ll pitch your idea and explain your technical plan.
🔧 Technical Requirements:
● Multi-Modal Fusion: Your project should combine at least two data types in a
meaningful way.
● Model Comparison: Train two models, one unimodal and one multimodal. Show the
added value.
● Deploy Like a Pro: Dockerize it and serve it via an API.
● GitHub + Documentation: Tell the story of your AI innovation.
