A. ACTIVITY
Before we proceed to our topic, let us have first an Activity
Game called “Guest the Jumbled Letter”. So, I am going to
group you into 4 groups.
Who wants to read the direction?

Direction: Let us arrange the
“Jumbled Letter” . Each group
will be given a two jumbled
words to arrange it and after 5
minutes one representative of
each group will write there
answer in the blackboard.

Okay very good our topic for today is
all about basic hand tools in electronics.
The first-hand tools are driving tools.
1. Phillips screwdriver used to
drive and
fasten positive slotted screw.
2. Slotted screw driver used to
drive and
fasten negative slotted screws.
3. Jewelers screwdriver set is
a set of
small screwdrivers.

Okey next Soldering Tools?
1. Soldering iron is a device
for applying
heat to melt solder in attaching
two metal.
2. Soldering tool stand is a
place where the soldering iron
is placed during usage.
3. Desoldering tool used to
remove
soldered wires.
How about the splicing tools?
1. Side cutter use to cut wires.
2. Wire stripper used to cut
wires without
cutting the insulator.
For the boring tools?
1. 12V mini drill used to drill
holes.
2. Portable electric drill used
to bore plastic and metals.
And the cutting tools?
1.Utility knife cutting various
trade and
Crafts.
2. Hacksaw use for cutting
metals.
The last one auxiliary tools?
1.Magnifying glass used to
produce
magnified image.
2. Paint brush is a type of
brush used for
cleaning dirty parts.
So that’s the basic hand tools and where they are classified.
