I sincerely thank Sweet Delights Bakery for allowing me to complete my internship. The

This report outlines my 15-day internship experience at Sweet Delights Bakery. I gained
practical exposure to baking, customer service, and inventory management. The
hands-on
experience helped me develop new skills, understand bakery operations, and work
efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The bakery industry plays a crucial role in the food sector, providing fresh and

Sweet Delights Bakery follows a structured hierarchy: Owner/Manager -> Head Baker ->
Assistant Bakers -> Sales & Cashiers -> Cleaning Staff. I worked under the supervision of
the Assistant Bakers, gaining hands-on training.
5. Job Responsibilities
During my internship, I was responsible for baking, assisting in preparation, handling
customers, managing inventory, and maintaining hygiene. Each day involved learning
new
recipes and techniques.
6. Skills Acquired
This internship helped me develop technical baking skills, customer interaction expertise,
time management, teamwork, and food safety knowledge.
7. Daily Work Summary
Each day at the bakery involved different tasks. Below is a brief breakdown: Day 1-3:
Introduction to the bakery, observing senior bakers. Day 4-6: Assisted in dough
preparation, basic baking. Day 7-9: Learned cake decoration, customer service. Day
10-12:
Managed orders, handled peak hours. Day 13-15: Assisted in final production, summary
discussion with supervisor.
8. Challenges Faced
Some challenges I encountered included managing peak-hour rush, learning complex
baking
techniques, and handling multiple customer orders simultaneously.
9. Learning Outcomes
By the end of my internship, I had learned time management, teamwork, effective
customer
communication, and various baking techniques including bread making and pastry
decoration.
