The document explains the interconnection between Job Descriptions (JD), Job Analysis, and Key Result Areas (KRAs) using the example of GoMechanic. JD outlines the specific tasks for mechanics, Job Analysis breaks down these tasks to understand required skills, and KRAs define measurable objectives based on the JD and analysis. Below is a simple explanation of how job descriptions (JD), Job Analysis, and key

result areas (KRAs) are interlinked. Please note I am taking an example of

GoMechanic(Mechanics or Technicians Segments) to make it easy to
understand.

 First, I will try to explain that what is job descriptions, Job Analysis, key
result areas and below is my explanation with few examples:

1. Job Description (JD): In an automobile service company like Gomechanic,

the Job Description (JD) outlines the specific tasks and responsibilities of
employees, such as mechanics or technicians. For example, the JD might
include tasks like changing oil, replacing brake pads, fixing engine issues,
and performing regular maintenance checks on vehicles. The JD serves as
a guide that helps employees to understand what is expected of them in
their roles. It provides clarity on the duties they are responsible for.
2. Job Analysis involves a thorough examination of each task outlined in the
JD. It aims to understand the requirements, skills, knowledge, and abilities
necessary to perform each task successfully. For example, if the JD
mentions changing oil, job analysis would involve understanding the
specific steps involved in the oil change process, the tools and equipment
required, and the safety to be followed. Through job analysis, employees
gain a deeper understanding of their tasks.
3. Key Result Areas (KRAs): Key Result Areas (KRAs) are the primary areas of
focus or objectives derived from the JD and job analysis. They represent
the key outcomes that employees are expected to achieve in their roles.
KRAs are specific, measurable, and aligned with the company's goals and
objectives. For example, based on the JD and job analysis, KRAs for a
mechanic at Gomechanic could include objectives such as completing oil
changes within a specified time frame, accurately fixing engine issues,
ensuring high-quality repairs, and providing excellent customer service.

 Now, let’s try to understand how all of these are interlinked or have
relationship with each other, below mentioned diagram contains all
explanation:
JD to Job Analysis:
Imagine you're a mechanic at Job Analysis to KRAs:
Gomechanic. Your job description Sticking with the mechanic
