▶ Cautions for copper pipe welding
Flow nitrogen (about 0.02MPa, 0.2kg/㎠) into the pipe during welding, so that the welding part is
not oxidized.

Nitrogen
Correct method Incorrect method
◆ Standard nitrogen use method ◆ Passing through nitrogen during welding only
Welding without using a gauge (oxygen
Welding using a gauge (remove oxygen inside is not removed due to instant flow)
Welding Welding
the pipe with minute flow) (Tar is created due to nitrogen locking
part
(No tar is created, owing to a continous flow) after welding) part
- Use the gauge to keep the nitrogen pressure stable.
- Pour nitrogen sufficiently before welding, and stop
pouring when the pipe cools down completely.

Air Vent
Vent
The air vent should be installed for smooth drainage.
Down-slop 1/50~1/100
Down-slop 1/50~1/100
1) The air vent should be higher than the height of the pump head
2) Installation is prohibited in the toilet and kitchen exhaust area.
3) A screen should be attached at the end of the drain pipe
to prevent bugs in the ceiling
