Creating an Animation in Photoshop
Step 1: Add Background and Moving Object
1. Open Photoshop.
2. Insert the first picture as the background.
3. Add a PNG image (e.g., a car or cartoon character) that will move.
Step 2: Copy and Resize the PNG Object
1. Select the PNG image using 'Ctrl + A'.
2. Copy it with 'Ctrl + C' and paste it onto the background layer using 'Ctrl + V'.
3. Press 'Ctrl + T' to resize and place it at the initial position.
4. Press 'Enter' to confirm.
Step 3: Create Animation Frames
1. Duplicate the PNG layer.
2. Move the duplicated PNG slightly forward using arrow keys.
3. Repeat this process until the PNG reaches the desired endpoint.
Step 4: Select All Layers
1. Hold 'Ctrl' and click all the PNG layers (next to the eye icon).
Step 5: Jump to ImageReady
1. Press 'Ctrl + Shift + M' to switch to ImageReady.
Step 6: Adjust Visibility for Animation
1. Hide all layers by clicking their eye icons.
2. Keep only the first PNG layer and background visible.
Step 7: Set Frame Timing
1. In the Timeline panel, set the time for the first frame.
2. Add a new frame in the animation panel.
Step 8: Create Animation Frames
1. Hide the first PNG layer and show the second.
2. Add a new frame.
3. Hide the second PNG layer and show the third.
4. Repeat until all PNG layers have been used.
Step 9: Play and Save the Animation
1. Press 'Play' to preview the animation.
2. Save the animation as a GIF if satisfied.
