I
have been working regularly on
cruise ships for over 13 years, for six
continuous months of every year.

Over the years I have performed several

different shows on the ships, ranging from a
close-up show to a BIG illusion show, but now
I am mainly working with my mentalism show. I
really enjoy taking this show on the ship as it is
still relatively new for the cruise ship world and
it gets a great response from the audiences.
Working on cruise ships is a great job, but
before embarking (embarking, get it?!) into this
floating world, it is important to be aware of a
few things:

Firstly, you must have at least 90 minutes of

great quality material, no filler! Normally you are
required to perform a full 45-50 minute show,
twice (on some ships you may be required to
perform three times) in one night, so that all
passengers get a chance to see the show. An
extra 45 minutes of material is needed in case
you are required for a second show during the
