THE FRENCH WIN THE HUNDRED YEAR WAR?!

Yes this is true the French have won the war against the English. Since
1337- 1453 the French have been fighting the English. The reason they were
fighting is because both England and France wanted to gain territory and

That’s why the French and the England were fighting. After the death of
Joan Arc the French came back from being the Under Dogs and won the
war when they thought they would have lost in the first few years. Now

The question that we got asked was: How
did France win the war against England
in medieval times, and what happened
after? They won the war because the
French had a great military under the
leadership of Jan Bureau. He made artillery
that could breach English walls. Some
things that happened after the war were
pretty bad. The war laid waste into France
and caused lots of suffering. This caused
suffering because most of the war was on
French soil and that made taxes go up.
France did gain territory because this is
what the war was about after all. To see the

Did you know that France started as a collection of small states and not one big
empire? France started after the fall of the roman empire by the Franks and made
the kingdom of the French. It was first ruled by many different people but then
soon directed by the Capetian Dynasty.
Capet was elected to throne in 987, this
began the Capetian rule. They expanded
rule and control over the nation. They
also expanded territory and elected lots
of officials across France. The life of
France was what lots of people would
think of what it would be. The life of
France was more countryside, lots of
farming and open fields. This was under
the rule of lords with the influence of the
church. It looked like you would picture
medieval peasants in straw houses with a
rock floor. There were also towns and
castles, that is what medieval France was
like.

Russia was not in the hundred year war. The mongols invaded Russia in the
1200's and they ruled until Ivan the great overthrew Mongol rule in 1480.
He centralized power in Russia and he converted to the Eastern Orthodox
Church. Ivan the great also founded the Russian state and he adopted the
double-headed eagle as Russia's coat of arms.
After Ivan the great
died his son Vasili
the III ruled
Moscow from 1462-
1505. Vasili the III
joined multiple
independent
principalities. He left
an
enlarged,powerful,
and centralized state

Spain was also not in the hundred year war
because it was about the French and the English.
Spain was formed by The Iberian Peninsula
where the Romans claimed it and made Hispania.
When Rome fell the Visigoths took the land of
Hispania. The Muslim took the land in the late
700's. The Christian Rule came to take back the
peninsula, this took 700 years to do this. After
they finally claimed this started in Spain. Spain
was finally formed after the Reconquista which
was the Christian rule taking back Spain. Spain
was very Diverse in Religion and this medieval
Spain was around the 5th-15th Centuries.
