10-2413 Masterbox Supervisor
Installation Instructions
DESCRIPTION
The 10-2413, Masterbox Supervisor is an interface
option to provide activation of a master box on a
Local Energy Type Auxiliary Fire Alarm System.
The interface is designed to activate a master box
over an electrical circuit that is electrically isolated
from the municipal system circuits. The assembly
includes the electronic circuit board mounted to a
polished steel cover plate. The plate can be
installed onto a 2 gang switch box, RACO 680 or

equivalent.
COMPATIBILITY PROGRAMMING
The 10-2413 is compatible with the CyberCat Fire The C-Linx software requires the addressable
Alarm and Cheetah Xi Suppression Control notification output module to be configured in the
Systems. Each system requires the 10-2413 to be system on the addressable loop. The activation
interfaced with an addressable Supervised Control state should be programmed for ALARM. The
Module (P/N 55-042/55-047). module should be non-silenceable and it should be
non-functional for Walktest and Drill states.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. If the system is already powered, disable critical
functions and power down system.
I CAUTION
The Masterbox Supervisor circuit board contains
static sensitive components. Handle the electronics
by the edges only and avoid touching the integrated
components. Keep the electronics in the protective
static bag it was shipped in until time for installation.
Always ground yourself with a proper wrist strap
before handling the module(s). If the installer is
properly grounded at all times, damage due to static
discharge will not occur. If the module requires
repair or return to Fike, it must be shipped in an anti-
static bag.
2. Carefully unpack the module and check for
shipping damage.
3. Install the Control Module and Power Supply
wiring to the module as noted in Exhibit 2.
4. Move SW1 to the position that appropriately
matches the resistance of the masterbox
solenoid coil (10-100Ω or 100-500Ω).
5. Apply power, program, and test for proper
operation.
6. Once proper operation is validated, fully secure
mounting plate to the switch box using the 4
screws provided.
